n for waterings i use a personal mix of 4 tsp of molasses + 2 caps of hydrogen peroxide to a gallon of water. n she's been loving it. but is theyre any disadvantages to tha budds ?,, cuz liek, i heard that tha 2 last weeks before harvest you should js use straight water, n no additives..what should i do ?....i dont wanna pass tha zenith point n i js watered it with my mix yesterday but i think she should be done by next week..

If your using chemicals flush 5-7 days before harvest..

For organics, there is no need to flush unless you severely overfed the plants.

If thats all you've given them plants in flowering, your yield will suffer bigtime.

Never heard of hydrogen Peroxide? .. you need to do your homework before posting advice.

The last 2 weeks of flowering is when you get the biggest growth spurts,..why starve em when they need the food the most??

Flushing is ONLY required if you overdosed the plants with nutes, or growing with chemicals..thats it!

No way!! In my opinion flushing is always required, if you want a clean smoke.

Once I didn't flush my plants and the smoke was awful, it didn't burn clean, the bud was black. The next run I used clones and flushed there was a 10 fold improvement in the flavor and the bud burned to white.

Just flush at least 10 days prior to harvest.

Has anyone else used these soil ammendments outdoors? If so what dosage?
I started using 1 capfull Hydrogen peroxide, 2 tbls. Brer Rabbit mild has
more iron mag than full flavor! and 1/3 dose MG Bloom Booster. Any comments? Thanks and I have learned more in a few weeks from this site than anywhere. Yes I was a marijuana idiot! Lost but now I'm found...

Speaking of doing homework......

STOP THE PRESSES!

CLOSETGROWTH DECLARES FINAL FLUSHING IS BOGUS:

I don't know how you Beverly Hills pretty boys do it, but here in the south, we like to flush everything out of the medium and let the plant finish it's last days feeding off of itself. It makes for a much smoother smoke and an easier cure. Your advice is going against EVERYTHING I've ever heard, read, seen or written. You also advocate feeding the plants within the last 2 weeks.... that just takes my breath away... :???:

You do realize the hydrogen peroxide kills all of the beneficials in your medium right? Your water has enough oxygen in it and unless you leave it out somewhere warm, you don't need to supplement O2 with HP....If you are leaving the water out in a warm place spend $15 on an air pump and air stone....

Also, you do know you're wrong about not having to flush unless you over feed right?

Seems like the Hydrogen Peroxide would be counterproductive to the Molasses. IF you kill off the bacterias & microbes that your trying to feed with the Molasses... whats the point? A self canceling treatment.

What I have gathered from this site and others is to use a very
dliute mixture such as 1 cap full plus nutes per gal. A strong mixture
is toxic just like us humans and oxygen or just about any substance. True?

Actually no, why would you use hydrogen peroxide if you didn't need it? You're killing off all your beneficials just to give a tiny bit more oxygen to the roots. There are a bunch of other options like an air pump which will cost you $15 and that's including the air stone.

interesting reading, i just recently heard of using molasses in the water, which i am trying now, but this being my 1st grow. i have heard of using hydrogen peroxide in water and and misting the soil and plant if you have gnats, but for some reason i didnt like that idea and my wife mized up some solution which i place in 2 bowls in my room, the solution is dish soap, lemon juice or whatever fruit juice you have, i prefer to use the lemon juice and then finally some water, supposedly the juice draws the gnats to the dish they land and cant get out due to the soap and water solution. but i deff wont try the hp in water to feed since seems its a no no.
