leaves yellowing is normal for flowering, are you sure its rootbound (even if it is, its best to leave as is to not shock it. just ad nutes and water as usual). pics would help

nice little grow you have there. ya im sure it would be rootbound by now lol. not much you can do with the space you have, just continue what you are doing. looking at last pic of it in flower, it seems it will most likely be normal yellowing.

What are the temps in there? How often are you watering it. Looks like heat/moisture issue to me. If the heat is around 75 day time (lights on) 60 night time (lights off) you're good. Then the issue might have to do with watering. Have you grown a plant besides mj before? Do you have an idea on how to water (something really only learned by experience, don't worry once you "get it" you got it for life). If you already know how to water then nutrition might come into play.

If it is nutrition, try foliar feeding to accompany each feeding. Foliar feed an hour before the lights go on to prevent bleaching and water spots. Though people want you to believe that having your leaves yellow prior to harvest is natural, don't be fooled, it's not. You do not want this. Green leaves are 90% more effective than yellow leaves. Leaves absorb the light which in turn allows the plant to work, hence they are the most important part of your plant. Don't you want those running at maximum efficiency?

I defineatly dont overwater i have a huge garden and have been growing plants since i was very young, but this is my second grow of MJ. I fed with foliar feed containing nitrogen and that didnt really seem to work. I know that yellows leaves arent good and i hate even having 1 yellow leaf on my plants. The temp is 22-24 C at night and 24-26 during lights on. The TV is in my ACed room. The heat stress you see is because that stem got up into the top of the TV ( higher than the exhaust ) and i assume that temps build up there so i tied it down near the PC fan to keep it cool..

ive tried everything but the leaves keep yellowing the only thing left i think could be that its rootbound seeing as its only a 1 gallon pot. I grew this plant from seed but ive taken 2 clones so next run i wont let them get big. This plant took over a month to mature and start flowering even though it was 12/12 form seed.

Hmm... Probably root bound then...
You could treat it as a hydro op and feed pretty heavy and flush later that day... I know some people manage to grow big ass fucking plants in small containers, and I think that's how they do it... fdd was one of those people.

6th post down is a pic of his plant.
Here's what he did:
when it was mid august and over 100 degrees out i had to water several times a day. i fed as often as the plant could handle. with a small pot over feeding isn't as huge an issue. things happen a lot faster. if over feeding occurs a quick flush and it's fixed.

i can feed heavily in the am, then give them a nice flush of fresh water in the pm. it actually works out rather well.

"rootbound" is just a term. a plant will not commit suicide.

It's fine, the plant is just making adjustments to itself. . My best advice is to do nothing to your plants.

I like this guys answer. Id do nothing except continue on as usuall. They yellow tward the end sometimes more on some plants than others.

yeah, don't sweat it, I will mention that I use 2ML of grow throughout my grows and still lose some leaves. If leaves aren't clawing or getting rust spots on them , stay on course

First off i would rule out more serious problems before determining that the yellowing is from the pot size. If you have not been feeding the plant enough N that could also be the issue. Most bloom feeds don't have enough N for a 10-12 week plant and need to be supplemented with a N rich fert.

I have never done this in flower, but i often do in veg or with moms. When my plants are super root bound and are growing huge amounts of roots out of the drainage holes i root prune. Literally u just cut the roots at the point they are leaving the container. I have found this helps a little. I have no idea if this will be super stressful for a flowering plant, but i wouldn't think so. Worth a try IMO if the plant is really root bound and you have eliminated other possible problems.

I will also sometimes remove the plant from the pot and cut off about the bottom inch of the root mass, this is a bad idea for a flowering plant, works great for moms tho.

Man what's the light ur using? Cfl? Those are goood shit man. How many total watts inside that box (tv) to be able to achieve that size of buds? Just want to have answer cause im using cfl too. Dont bother to suggest other kinds of lighting cause i also use small grow box and im in a tight budget and its only for my personal use.

I agree with Alienwidow too........But as for the yellowing.....I might ask exactly what are you feeding with and how much? Can you list the NPK values please.....Veg and bloom and when you started the bloom feed use.

First guess is high P to soon.....Run the veg nute to 3-4 weeks in on a 12 week plant before going to the bloom food.

Don't look to bad but this is easy to not do next time!

Im on flowering stage right now its been 4 days since ive switch my clycle to 12/12 and im seeing white hairs already on one budsite, i hope after a week all budsites will have trichomes, as what ur saying about nutes, can i still use my current fertilizer?
24-8-16, ive used it once on vegetative stage, can i use it again? For the meantime cause i still dont have mu bloom nutes,,Just to give my plants some Nitrogen a little bit cause im also using small pot, 1gal pot. What do u think ? Little advice will help a lot bro . Thanks! 20150709_001144.jpg
