Just read trough the thread. Awsom grow room! Seems a bit overkill if your just growing for your own personal use, but I can totally understand wanting the extra room to move around and be able to comfortably work on your garden. I wish I could dedicate that amount space to my grow. Good luck and Happy Growing.

Congrats on being wealthy enough to do this lol.
its more of an investment.. I have been medicating for 21 years and have no plans to stop anytime soon so the money is going to get spent 1 way or another....I look at this method a way to save money and gain a hobby.

nice, i thought about using a filter for intake when I build my cab but idk if it would be worth it for a small grow

Im doin a bunch of things I prob don't need to do but I like taking preventative measures, helps me enjoy all aspects of the build and grow just a bit more...:leaf:

My clones are in their new home

chem dog
green crack
grand daddy purple
purple diesel
death star

Some nice lookin seedlings!

Do you plan to do hydro or soil(less) or a hybrid??

I saw the 55 gal res but then saw your seedlings in soil.

Also what kind of nutes do you plan on using and if soil what soil/pot size?

Thanks... First grow so I am a bit nervous

i was going to go hydro but changed my mind.

for soil I am going to mix fox farm light warrior and ocean Forrest. Also going to use fox farm nutes.

i am going to be moving these girls into 1 gal pots in a few days and then eventually to 7 gal.

Sounds like a plan!

You ever heard of air pots?? Theyre nice! check em out

I use em and they work well. Really help on transplanting and theyre hard to over water.

And if you want to switch to a flood and drain type hydro theyll work fine with coco or hydroton or even perlite.

No problem you can usually find me on eBay and they're only a couple bucks a piece. But are stronger and better than nursery pots

Also remember that fox farm nutes are strong as hell. On ebay you can get the whole line up for really cheap. The dry additives are incredibly strong but they do a nice job of adding density to the buds, like most pk boosters do. Some people think fox farm tastes bad....no comment but if you can taste nutesusing any nutrient your using too much.
Sorry to intrude but that its just what i learned running their lineup in roots soil and airpots. Good luck bros

Thanks for the heads up on the fox farm nutes.... Are there any nutes that are known for not being so prone to leaving flavor behind but still being effective?

Thats all myth. along with flushing to get rid of nutes in the buds. A good dry and cure is what will help you get the best taste out of your product.

flushing works for rebalancing the ph of your soil because it tends to drop over time from the below 7 nute feedings we give them, or to attempt to correct over nuting

Dont listen to any of the flushers or organic heads. Organics are awesome and everything dont get me wrong. Cheap and effective!

I use organics and chemicals and dont flush and know that chemicals do basically the exact same thing because in there raw form nitrogen is nitrogen no matter where it comes from.

Ive come to these conclusions based on my own test from using chemicals and switching to organic and both flushing and not flushing.

It all came down to the dry and cure for flavor (as well as strain but thats obvious)

As for heat of fox farm i never burned a plant with them. The only organic thing is the big bloom micro nutrient.

Everything else is synthetic. (not sure about dry nutes though)

Just start em off slow and if youve got enough light hitting the plants itll be hard to over nute them because theyll be begging for it.

I dont think you should worry about your taste as long as you cure and trim your buds well. Some people think organic has the best flavor. I dont think this is inherintly true. I think flavor was amazing with mollasses and fox farm with a slow dry and long cure.

Here are some links about flavor/smell and how to increase it:

I agree that synthetic or organic might not be the biggest factor with flavor. More studies are needed. I do agree that a long slow dry and cure will ensure the most flavor. I havnt tried not flushing so I cannot argue about that. When I used to buy weed the guy who sold it didnt flush and my stuff is so much smoother. This is not a good enough result for me so I need to try not fluching some of my plants to see how it works.
