Riu growers.....almost entirely made up of 20 to 40 year old white males with one or two lamps in a tent. Hardly any of them really know what they are doing (horticultural wise) and have got about 3 years max experience. No real pros or veterans give up any decent information or post at all. Read most of the thread titles....its obvious. Younger kids arguing about nutrient brands and whether flushing is effective or not.

I spent years here trying to teach the new growers and there are actually a few great growers that still hang here and even I check in every once in awhile

Tis also true a lot of good growers have left, it is what it is

What I found to be true is if your info is good there will be a few that find and follow but ya can't stop the forum myth/rhetoric from spreading, tis human nature at work, very similar to religion & politics

i'd like to believe i'm not only a veteran, but offering good advice as well..
I'm here when i'm at my shop, and genuinely like to help people.
BUT I stick to the organic section...
if I gotta hear another ppm, ph, or flush question I may have to choke the nearest toddler

ya got me pegged though, i'm in the 20-40 age bracket, a white male, and indeed I am running only two lamps at the moment.
But if you can grow with two lamps you can grow with 20
you can call me

excuse the grammar and spelling errors as i do not care if i make them anymore

i been here a while and this site has helped me alot over the years ......yes alot of subjects repeat alot of noobs cycle in and out ....but that is all sites (that is do life and repeating patterns)

right now is one of those rare times when the laws are changing enough to really start doing work on a plant that has been banned (honestly they are only just starting the research on the chemical effects of cannabinoids on human body .....the money to allow it is federal locked up the research is being done by private firms .......and we all know how well greedy rich ppl play with everyone) ......this is like the 1800s all over again everyone fighting to carve out a spot to earn mass profits ......exciting as hell if u have a mind to think along the bigger picture

this site along with all the other site are just one tool .......thanks to these sites a person with half a brain can use it to build info on customers (tailor the shop/venture to being best it can) .......we have 2 years of shops popping up closing ....... we have ppl buying gear out the butt for home growing and personal ventures to supply shops ......sooner or later one of these ppl u seem to have disdain for is going to think of something no one has before ....changing the way it works in some aspect (if history has proven it the common person making something to fix their problem and it just changes the world) ......that kind of info is going to show up here on these type of sites before it is going to show in the PRO OR COMMERCIAL MARKETS......where the hell do u think super soil came from now that is a whole market on it self with different mixes

so get off your damn high horse before someone takes offense decides to knock u down

I got a silly philosophy that works well for me..
the fishtank philosophy..

sometimes they shit in your tank and fly away, ignorant to your wrath...
those people don't care, and those people don't MATTER, but they shit in your tank regardless.
NOW.. here is the tricky part... it YOUR tank... NOBODY will scoop that shit out of your tank, brother
it's YOUR responsibility to not only scoop that out, but to be aware of that...
now, the exception, and the important part of this philosophy.. is there are fish that you share your tank with... loved ones.. fellow workers, family, etc..
THOSE are the people ya gotta worry about.. cuz the fish IN your tank can keep shitting in your water?
those are the ones ya gotta concentrate on.
