Here's what they say:

MOONSHINE
NET VOLUME: 2 CUBIC FEET

{56.6 LITERS 59.8 DRY QUARTS}

MOONSHINE IS THE WHITE LIGHTNING OF POTTING SOILS.

Fully charged with generous amounts of worm castings and carefully selected bionutrients, this high proof blend will keep your plants€™ spirits fed.

USAGE:
Moonshine works equally well indoors and out with both traditional and hydroponic techniques. After transplanting seedlings, you can begin feeding immediately or rely on Moonshine's nutrient charge for up to 6 weeks with little to no nutrients needed.

For optimal results, test and balance liquid feeds and water to between 5.8 to 6.8 pH.

INGREDIENTS:
coconut coir, perlite, pumice, rice hulls, expanded shale, humus, worm castings, biochar, feather meal, fishbone meal, blood meal, alfalfa meal, oyster shell, metamorphosed evaporite, flax seed meal, cotton seed meal, dried molasses, kelp meal, azomite, potassium sulfate, limestone, yucca extract, and mycorrhizae.

My experience:
I mixed this1 bag with 1 bag of fox farms Ocean Forest

My experience with this soil was not entirely good.

PH runoff is constantly 1.5-2 higher than the watering PH. Using their low recommended PH of 5.8 even at the third week gives me a runoff of 7.4

The pH of run off is not the pH of the soil. It's the pH of the run off.

Why are you watering with a run off in organic soil? Not good.....stop.

Your organic soil self pH's......Water it and forget the pH.

Moonshine? Is that the same company out of Mmmm, Oregon as the "moonshine mix" (nutrient) for soil?
Or are you talking the old Moonshine mix of the 05 High Times mag

I guess I'm wrong then.
Here I thought it was too high PH and locking out the iron.

New golden growth sure isn't right.

more shale than humus cant be good.
A lot of stuff in there I have no experience using, dried molasses shouldn't be used in my opinion, but molasses sorta burned me a couple times when i used it as a nutrient

How long have the plants been IN the soil and how big is the pot their in?
I mean they say up to 6 weeks of feeding and they say you can start nutrition right away.....

They look like beginning/advancing P def with starting N def......Plants in a too small pot for too long without nutrient?

Look it to me...

7 gallon pots.
In for ~ 3 weeks.

I watered today....little run off. Didn't test ph
Added some micro and N.

Got them when they were fighting to flower.

I'm thinking about taking my FLO strain and making it a house plant.
Put it by the stairs and give it an LED light and let it grow about 15 foot.

Would make an interesting conversation piece for visitors.....

UPDATE:

They must have adjusted the formula some.

SMELLS LIKE SHIT!! But is perfect for about 6 weeks. I'll upload pics later.

Plants are doing amazing....still don't know what to call it. Soiless soil?

coconut coir, perlite, pumice, rice hulls, expanded shale, humus, worm castings, biochar, feather meal, fishbone meal, blood meal, alfalfa meal, oyster shell, metamorphosed evaporite, flax seed meal, cotton seed meal, dried molasses, kelp meal, azomite, potassium sulfate, limestone, yucca extract, and mycorrhizae.

I grew up on a farm...... Worm castings are not the only shit in it....can't be....smells like the barn yard. But damn happy plants.

I'll update weekly. See how long the mix feeds the plants w/o additives.

I just picked up a bag of moonshine batch 64 For my indoor grow using this “soil”as the medium. How'd it work out for you?
Don't get me wrong, I've grown some high quality cannabis using this stuff, however, I feel that has something to do with my experience with feeding and overall maintenance more than the medium itself. I've noticed the prevalence of fungus gnats using it for the past few grows. I may switch back to Royal Gold Kings mix or Tupur. Royal Gold has yielded me the best results as far as coco mixes. I tried batch 64 as an alternative, but not the happiest with results.

The plants pictures are GMO cake and Purple Punch bred by Greenpoint Seeds, and grown in batch 64 moonshine.
