Removed a lot of "leafage"

I believe its no more than 15% or you really change things for the worse. I have 2 plants that have 8-10 inch cola potential that I snipped a few fan leaves away from because they blocked a lot of the plant. With CFLs you do what you can to get light where you need it. They seem to be responding well. I have plenty of fan leaves left ....Plenty

An observation . . . after growing gardens my whole life, plants/leaves in general start losing their "perfect-ness" as fruiting begins. This is quite important for me to always remember, as I do forget, and then, waste my time trying to "fix" leaves that are doing exactly what is needed at that time in it's life cycle, for the finest/largest product . . . and usually I end up making the "alleged" problem(s) worse in my effort.

quick question,

if you may be able to see from my picture, my plant was yellowing prematurely.

someone pointed it out to me, put it down to nitrogen deficency.

wilth some of the leaves now gone will i see these leaves turn darker as i feed them nutes? will they start storing more?

wishful thinking, just wondering if that could possibly happen?

Yellowing is a symptom of LOTS of different possible issues.

Sounds possible, but adding more nutrients will cause the deficiency to stop. And if you ahve a deficiency, you don' want to cut leaves to make up for it.

You had such nice plants too... I wanna see what happened. It might not be that bad...

will glue or salleotape wok best for sticking the leaves back on....

the plants weren't that bad by the way.

in all my pics is how they still look. they just had some slight yellowing.

it didn't get worse.

looks normal. just less leaves.

I butchered my plants for years (topped EVERY junction, every time . . . removed all water leaves before they even grew, etc.) and always got buds, albeit very small in most cases, but plenty strong and lot n' lots of them.

That said, since I stopped doing that, one bud now usually replaces the weight of a whole plant of the former method.

and the main cola is the most potent part.
