Recommendation for 3x4 plug-n-play LED setup

Hey everyone,

I like my DIYs, but my buddy does not and I would like to help him research some plug-n-play options.

He has a 3x4 room that he's setting up so 1-2 plants per cycle. I'll be helping him scrog, lst, etc so we aren't looking for side lighting or anything like that. Top down plug-n-play.

I'm just looking for some input from you guys to narrow my research down.

I'd like to hear from you up to 2 options... realizing that in both cases it may be the same light...

1. best bang for buck?
2. best light period(money no object)?

I'll do a fair bit more research, but the last time I was in the lighting game QBs were just starting to hit the market, and I see quite a few new options past those now too.

I'm in the LED and other lighting forum because I know the MH/HPS game fairly well, so I don't need suggestions in that area.

Feel free to post links.

Remember, my friend wants 100% plug-n-play, all he wants to do is take it out of the box, hang it on some adjustable hangers, plug it in the wall and flip a switch(or 2 if they have veg/flower).

Thank you in advance as this will save me considerable amount of time in narrowing my focus for a deeper dive...

Thanks!

So for those 2 sites, I am looking at

Timber: Model 4VS
BCBlondes: 340W Grow Bar.

Those 2 look comparable, slightly different wattage and light spread...

Any other suggestions folks?

Any of those companies make great products. I would prefer a bar type fixture with panels. The newer LM301b diodes seem to offer up to 10% increase in efficiency over the LM561c so I'd consider getting boards that run them. I built a couple of 320w Vero arrays for my space and they do a good job. This year I added a set of 44" double row F strips as outriggers on each bar. They are driven at roughly 1/2 power with a 240w driver during flower. Produces a blanket of photons when it's cranked up.
