I only see a very small bit of French politics here; I suspect our media suppresses such stories because they don't want the American public getting any ideas, lol

Well ... I hope LJ is doing fine ... we always tend to fear the worst but it's maybe nothing too bad ? Let's hope so !

Anyway reading your comments I feel like damn why don't tell you a few things about it !

Situation is so bad in France, there are many many crazy things to say and it's sweet to see folks getting interested into this on a US forum ! I mean some of you guys have almost everything a MJ lover could desperately desire while the frenchies suffer from the harshest and most unfair laws on ganja in the whole western Europe ... beautiful proof of altruism if you ask me ! So hell yeah why not ?! Would even be nice to get advices from you on how you guys have made it that far in return !

And you're right let's not hijack REALSTYLES inspiring thread it clearly doesn't deserve it.

I'm not too familiar with other sections than the LED one what do you think would be the best place to start this discussion here on RIU ?

A better reason is 36 volts is less likely to kill you if you screw up.......
.1amp@40volts will break the resistance barrier of your skin... So DIYers with no background in electronics should go with the 36V system. I see no advantage in a DIY situation to use the 72V model.

i have built a fixture with2 cree cxa 3070
36 volt
i want to upgrade
i want to add 2 cree 3590
36 volts
i want to run 3070 and 3590 (2 of each) @ 50 watts each
can i run both 3070 and 3590 off the one meanwell driver??

I think a fully plug and play assemble like Legos kit is the best kit to offer. If you can do that to where a big tittied hot blond babe could get it together you'd have a winner.

I just hope they follow the instructions because some people aren't that bright as the light they're making lol.
