At full blast can you let your hand on the hs...after 1h of use of course!??
It is risky to run cxb3590 on those tiny hs (program your timer to let the fans run for at least 5mn after light off for longevity!)

I just let my fans run all the time (arctic alpine 11 plus with cxa3070). I figured I would have less chances of them failing to turn on.

Wow all the time...@12V?
Is it hot when the fan is on?
And do you know how thick is the hs base and the hs size Wxwxh please!
It is to make comparison with mine!

how much would be needed for just 2 of the cobs, I could do one driver per two lights and one sink.
Just a little over double what PerroVerde is using for 50 watts of dissipation. You will be running at about 120 watts per COB so maybe 22" of 5.886 profile per COB. I'd just actively cool a smaller HS for convenience.

The difference is you could put 5 cxb3590 on the 1400mA (56% efficiency) 2 @2100mA (49.7%)
I would go @1400mA for spread amd efficiency...not 2100mA...maybe 1750mA...but I aim for 1050mA and 1 cob per hs over each sq/ft (30w sq/ft) but with 1400mA driver dimed @1050mA to have 50w sq/ft so 20w in case of...!

A lot of the questions I need answered are already on here, you just answered one, it's a matter of looking. Thanks the growmau5 videos are helping too.
