You want it to be about ~10% amber before you way to harvest. It all depends on what type of buzz you're wanting. More amber = a more sedated high. Cloudy/white = speedy high.
When trichomes are clear plant is not ready, when 80% of trichomes are cloudy, (meaning max THC production, even a few slightly brown or deteriorated), time to harvest. It becomes an art, Ive found waiting a longer is better.
this is pretty much how I harvest, 80/10/10 (cloudy, amber, clear). when I look at the buds in my scope, if I see 5-10 amber trichs , its time to put in the 24hrs of darkness, and prepare to harvest.
I use them as well as many other growers. I put 1 8gram 62% broveda pack per 1/2 gallon mason jar filled about 3/4 full (no more) after my inside rh is stable at 65%.
Demon, I've read a few places that boveda packs can mess with the terpenes and flavonoids negatively. Have you experienced any negative effects from them compared to just jarring the buds with out them?
