Question for BC MMAR Growers & Dispensaries

Why are they listed as separate tests? Properly calibrated, all the criteria that you listed can be done in a "single" liquid chromatography test.
There is another Accredited Lab on Vancouver Island called Phytatest. Their prices are better than MB Labs and their turn around time for me was under one week.

HPLC can do the cannabinoids but GC/MS or GC/FID is needed to do terpenes and pesticides is my understanding, and the terps and pesticides each require their own column. seeing as mblabs are not a dedicated cannabis lab might explain the cost. a dedicated lab would have everything ready to go for canna so testing would be cheaper and easier.

I heard something about Wagon Wheel Labs in Richmond, something like $50/test. I'll be talking with them soon.

Phytatest is $85 for cannabinoids+6 terpenes, pretty good deal. They have no GC yet so limits their testing capabilities atm, but it sounds like they will acquire one in the future.

My hope is that we'll have enough reliable labs so that they'll be more competitive price wise. $50 a test sounds good and even better if it includes some terpenes. I think we'll see labs testing for 50+ terpenes before not too long.

the bcccs responded:
Most of our products are not tested for cannabinoids or terpenes. We do microbiology testing on all our strains.
I followed up with a question about pesticides, since I forgot to ask in the first email.

still waiting for a response from the green cross

Shit gonna have to watch this just to see how many times JW's buddy Chad uses the words socialist, fascist or any of their variants. Take a bong rip every time he does. You'll be done in 10 minutes
