Pullag poll: Should the US intervene in Syria?

i'm just hoping they wait for confirmation first before bombing, although it really does seem to be confirmed at this point without the inspectors.
LOL... Another fail...

U.S. rejects Syrian request that U.N. inspectors stay longer, possibly delaying military strike

The Obama administration appeared Wednesday to be forging ahead with preparations to attack Syria. It dismissed a Syrian request to extend chemical weapons inspections there as a delaying tactic and said it saw little point in further discussion of the issue at the United Nations.

President Obama said that “there need to be international consequences” for the Aug. 21 chemical strikes he said he has concluded were carried out by the Syrian government.

When?

It isn't that easy anymore, even for army national guard. Plenty of enlisted people with degrees who never had an mmj license.
so they would reject a guy in the 99.9th percentile of coding who speaks 4 languages because i have an MMj license?

LOL... You have no moral authority don't make us laugh...
sounding more and more like red. so sad.

i just looked it up, news outlets right, left and center are all reporting that US spies obtained info that assad's regime was behind the gassing.

not that there was any real doubt anyway after he bombed the area again and fired on inspectors.
Just How Blind Are We in Syria?

As for American intelligence, it has no one on the ground in Syria, and certainly no one near a hot battle zone like Aleppo. It’s too dangerous and not worth the candle. We’re left then with the not-very-attractive alternative of waiting for Syrian refugees to make their way either north to Turkey or south to Jordan. Their information can’t be anything other than spotty and inaccurate and hard to corroborate. Traumatized people will say anything to get back at their tormentors. As for the Free Syrian Army, it would say anything to persuade the West to intervene and get rid of President Bashar Assad’s regime.

According to a March 20 Washington Post story, a panel of White House advisers issued a secret report that U.S. spy agencies’ collection has been “distorted” by devoting too much money and people to military operations and drones: i.e., Iraq and Afghanistan. For me, the unwritten subscript is that in the hunt for mainstream al-Qaeda, we missed the witches’ brew in Syria. (I say this with the caveat that it wasn’t management’s fault; it’s inevitable when you fight two large and messy wars.)
Anymore half truths you want to try and float?

why would they bomb the gassed area and fire on the inspectors?

and don't US spies already have intelligence letting us know it was assad's regime?

i'd cite an article but i don't really care enough to do so right now. i just saw some headlines while i was trimming over the last 4 days.
citation needed.

I hope you take preventive measures to avoid carpal tunnel syndrome with all that trimming

All debate aside, when the government inevitably decides to attack anyone we will all waive our flags and salute the veterans like good Americans. Once the tanks start rolling and the jets take off from the carriers, we will all shut our mouths and wait for it to all be over. And when it is all over, we will all get up on our moral and intellectual high-horses and pontificate on the excesses of executive authority. I've seen this episode before. My dad and his dad saw this show before. It is the same as it always was.

so with the world getting there panty's spun all tight and the USA beating its military Drum Great !!!!
i would like to take a minuet to make us think of all the people who died and more to the point the people who lost loved one,s and survived. I think the world has got so desensitized to war and attrostrositys that go with it . I hope they can find peace .

I always ask myself this question when faced with things like this.If we stopped messing with other nations business and looked at our own sorry state of affairs maybe we could quell some of the poverty stricken people in this country .Hell fuck no should we even think about it
we are 34 out of 35 on the child poverty list , We don't make many cars in the car capitol anymore WE let our politicians lead us round by the nose like were some obese nation addicted to self gratification and quick short term results (profitable)we readily feed petty criminals into the jail system to keep the corporate jails flush with slave labour not only draining space for the real scum bags
we critique the rest of the world like we were watching some fucking lame episode of the worlds got talent,
We believe 99% of what were fed through main stream media classic example. in here i bought a tent a light and a fan
"please advise me on which hole the weed comes out" its not the fact that cant we wont we will never really care about our fellow man cos if we did we fucking do something about it . I feel a lump in my throat when i see maimed brave americans walking around trying to justify what they were made to do in the name of what fucking Halliburton GE i fuck me we cant keep our own border free of scum .I would crawl over broken glass to protect this country's borders fuck give me a pitch fork i will stand there . So i say no to the poll bring all our brave solders home .
I am sure given a choice they would prefer to help out say with the infrastructure of Detroit as it loos like they could do with it .
I dont know what scares me more the fact that how many presidents have basically bent over immediately after the presidential inauguration, to let the corporation with the fattest cheque book insert there arm up to the fucking arm pit ..
Or the fact that we all just go on like nothing happened like a bunch of lemmings . Its sad that we have lost sight again of the bigger picture .
America is nearly bankrupt. The two Bush,s managed to spend ,Hock and steal our grand kids security and spit whats left with the fucking blood sucking scumbags called the corporations, that are human really Honestly !!!! .Ok OK time out .Fuck im spitting on my screen

I have to share this with you and i know its going slightly off topic but during the occupation of France the brave men and women running round blowing up bomb dumps and rail yards were in today's theater of Bull shit Terrorist
I say this, as with all arguments with guns the winner rights the history.Yes they were undeniably heroes and saved lives by giving there own .
Today anyone who choose,s that line of ...i will use the word defense is immediately classed terrorist and deemed to be executed by a fucking drone carrying a missile We don't see the fact that America is seen as the guns for hire by most .As the the chair in the white house is sold off every four years. ergo whos wins the chair gets the military toys at his (the winning corporation) disposal.
I say this as its only when there is vast wealth at stake that we America break out the bottle of crocodile tears And draw the stars and stripes a little tighter around our shoulders .

when asked whos side i am on i will always reply humanity although that is getting a little thin .

Dont get me wrong i hate all violence but one day we will realize the cost of letting our supreme leaders play world monopoly with our lives

Why do you look at the spot of dust in your brother's eye? But you do not see a big stick in your own eye!

A new report by the United Nations Children’s Fund, on the well-being of children in 35 developed nations, turned up some alarming statistics about child poverty. More than one in five American children fall below a relative poverty line, which UNICEF defines as living in a household that earns less than half of the national median. The United States ranks 34th of the 35 countries surveyed, above only Romania and below virtually all of Europe plus Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

it would take a waiver from a higher rank than other stuff like a neck tattoo. You could speak 12 languages and if one of ain't in demand it's worth fuck all.

As for high scores, combat arms soldiers like light infantry and snipers are where the smartest people who are also otherwise fit end up.

You need a clearance to pilot a drone. I don't know about your chances of getting one but just another thing to consider. They would make you jump through hoops and leave you probably a disgruntled human resources type working for a Sergeant Lumberg who would like you to go ahead and come in on Saturday.

Sunday too.

I think it is pretty crazy that we arm anyone involved in a civil war.

If Russia armed Al Quaida against the USA we would call them terrorists... Oh wait, we call that Afganistan...

Seriously, our policies make no sense...
It wasn't that long ago that we armed Afghanistan against Russia, it's only fair.

Has Afghanistan ever lost a war? what are they, like 14-0? Even Hannibal said screw this, too much trouble.

Yes, i think we should destroy or at least severly diminish Assad's capacity to conduct chemical attacks. Let the rebels sort it out from there....buuuut who the fuck are these rebels? There are so many different groups. And the most effective amomgst them are those barbarian jihadists! I could probably make a strong case for limited intervention just to stamp put and burn out the islamists. They are the threat that threatens us and Syria's neighbors, not Assad. We can (and for a long time have) wheeled and dealed with dictators. There is no negotiation with Islamists. Ideology that rigid doesnt bend to the norms of self-preservation or show any respect for our common humanity. It can only break. Which is the case I make. Stomp out the al-nusra and al-quaeda groups before they get a foothold like they have in Iraq. Even if Assad does eventually kill enpugh of his owm people to win, better him then another rogue state.
