Weed is fucking with your reasoning and reading comprehension. I was talking about myself. If I said, "I'll meditate upon that," it means what you've contributed has merit, but not yet convinced me.
You can't meditate at, only upon. Prayer does at. Which is why I think prayer is stupid. You can only gain upon understanding which meditation accomplishes. Wanting a result doesn't work.

Who gives a fuck about praying or meditating. If you pray and "god" talks back, you are a crazy person. If you need to "meditate" on something, that is just a self-righteous way of saying "let me think about that". Meditating as a solution to an argument is bullshit, because it does not involve thought. If you are truly zen you have nothing going on upstairs.

You have no idea how meditation works. A clear mind is able to concentrate on the task at hand.
It involves complete control of the self to know the self. If you don't first know the self, you can't tackle your own problems.
Prayer and meditation are nothing alike.

I've been doing it for about six years now daily. You must practice breath control, relaxation and letting go. Then you cultivate the flow of energy within all parts of your body.
I like to think of them as strings which turn into tunnels that cleanse.
