I have a 2x4 ebb and flow system w/25 gal res. 3 grape apes and 600w hps. 1week into flowering. Using fox farm grow big, tiger bloom and plant food. mixed w some flora blend tea. I just started again trying to figure out this Hanna tds meter. A couple days ago i was at around 1100 ppm. Today im at 1300 ppm. Does that mean the plants are drinking more water at this time??? Ph is 6.0... Should i give them more fresh water without nutes? the plants are in 6" rockwool cubes.

That is right justsomedude

They are drinking more water or the water is evaporating more than the nutrients. this causes the ppm to raise, therefore you have to add more water to your res to drop the ppm. I would keep the ph around 5.7 I usually do not mess with the ph if it is between 5.2 and 6.2 because it will raise and lower throughout the day.

Also your plants could handle more ppm that what is required. The only way to know if your ppm is too high is if the water leaves very tips turn yellow. You can use this technique to know how much ppm they can handle, which can increase yield and resin production.
