Ppm , ec , tds meter ? Any brand that wont blow budget ?

image.jpeg This is the cheap one I got :). Auto calibration is nice, thing works like a charm and I could buy 4 for what my Bluelabs cost :). Nice to get a back up but how long are they good for if never used?

I'm using the exact same pH and TDS meters. Have you ever calibrated the TDS meter? I haven't and I'm a little worried it might be off point, although I don't think TDS meters need that much maintanence as pH pens.
Calibration solution is dirt cheap. Mine was accurate out of the box. I did find that my old one was off about 100 ppm's or so, not enough for me to worry about since it is now a back up.

My EC meter is not a huge concern and just use it to monitor the ups and downs over a period of time. I pretty much know how many ml per 100 litres to get where I need to be to start then watch the plants. Nice to have a Cali rated one though I guess, perhaps when I start up in the fall. Got the bags outside now ;).
