i used h202 1 once to a quart and it seemed to help but i was told it to strong and to use milk.
so i used milk 1 part to 10 and sprayed that but it left white crusty crap everywhere

so now should i use neem oil? do i spray when the lights go out? i hear stories of plant suffocation and neem oil burning the leaves while lights are on...what is everyones opinions?

When you get tired of playing around with the 'feel good' remedies that really don't work, google DIY Sulfur Burner or Sulfur Vaporizer.

A Sulfur Burner/Vaporizer is about the only way to 100% get rid of it.

I am dealing with the same exact thing right now...I bought Serenade and am going to get zero tolerance by Ed Rosenthal...It seems to be working but Wetdog is 100% right, the sulfur burner is the only thing that will get rid of it.Only thing is that they are kind of pricey at almost $200 depending on where you get one.

You can make one for way less than $20 including the sulfur.

just found this...can you make one easier?
That is the very one I was referring to, can't get much easier than that.

Burn time depends on the size of the area, but 2-3 hours is usually good.

It does smell, how bad is personal opinion. Do you have odor control? A sealed room/tent? This is the tricky question. I'm in a house and it never concerned me.

clean your area thoroughly and keep it clean and adequately ventilated and you shouldn't have to dick around with this stuff

Milk is commonly used to treat PM, it changes the PH of the leaf surface so the midew cant live, it does nothing for the rest of your room

and thats why the only real way to combat it is a sulphur burn. IMO

neem works great for prevention and for treatment of budless plants. They really like it and perk up nice every time.
Greencure also works great, it will fry the hairs but thats the only drawback.
Ive had a struggle with PM as well, If you live in CA then you are probably picking up the spores from the avocado farms that are all around.

Clean your fans often, all the dust that builds up is a good housing for the little spore fuckers

as for milk, it has to be the right ratio, 1:9,too little milk will do nothing, too much will create more mold problems, skim/non fat milk is best
the protein enzymes in the milk break down the mildew and the alkaline nature of the milk prevents germination for the short term.

stop spraying milks and crusty shit everywhere! best of getting a sulfur burner as the others said, a lot of sprays just add more moisture to the mildew, and thats what it needs to thrive.

I'm new to the forum and stumbled on this post researching powdery mildew. So, I thought I'd share my techniques. I've been using Neem and Immunox and it's been great, however I've now got O.G. Kush and have been warned about how susceptible it is to mildew and every other problem. Immunox is not organic so I use it real early on and have made it through with out a mildew problem so far. I take the babies 9 days before I'm going to transplant (4-6inch tall or so) and dip them once every 3 days in a Green Light Neem mix. I like the Green Light Neem because is stays emulsified well allowing for a safe dipping mix that is oil clump free. The 3rd dip I transplant out of the 4in cubes into their final container. I wait about a week to make sure I no pests/diseases before I stop the neem, also letting them recover from the continuous oil coatings (I think it clogs up there stomata a little slowing there growth down about 10-15% from what I've seen). Then I spray well once with Spectracide Immunox Mutli-Purpose Fungicide. The mildew is systemic and the immunox seems to really kill it if there is any there. When you see the powder that means its been living in the plant at least a week. I think that really healthy starts and lots and LOTS of air circulation help tremendously! I'm interested in using sulfur, and I've been told it's the most affective if you're really have an issue with the mildew. I'm also interested in trying pyrethrum bombs for mites the next time I have any. It's hard enough to control the problem let alone totally eradicating them which is the obvious goal. I'm interested learning new techniques and hearing others thoughts, so do share and SMOKE IT UP!!!

Serenade can leave some burns on your leaves, and I found it to be ineffective and smells like a dirty asshole.
I wouldn't do sulphur in flowering, especially in an apartment.
DEA will show up asking where the meth lab is.....

You have problems with PM with OG? It's usually a hardy strain.
Where did you get your genetics?
