Supposedly the revenue from this is going to charitable causes.

I mean fuck, if you let poor people in there someone would wipe a booger on Jesus' face.
 
The pope is worried about the breath and sweat of poor people ruining the art. Wealthy people don't have those problems due to their ability to afford a toothbrush and antiperspirant deodorant.
