As one that has tasted the Goddess, I can answer, yes they are and the Goddess is GREAT!

have not tasted the Isis yet (but I have beans) :)
Yeah, fro the lucky few, lol as you can not buy RMH Genetics anywhere, I googled it just for fun. the Isis definitely peaks my interest, not sure why exactly. Loving the grow though!!!
Damn,

is there anyone in central california that has the beans? Someday i'd like to get my hands on that!

Okay, so that one there is Farmer C's Polish Pumpkin. I bought Atlantic Giant Seeds at Lowes last year and it grew out to 69 lbs. This year so far that one, or the seeds from it rather, is 138 lbs on Monday the 6th.

Now here is the Wallace-Hemphill. A friend from Wyoming, has a buddy who grew a state record. He sends me an envelope full of seeds, all in little manilla envelopes and marked with pictures and the cross and size.

This Wallace Hemphill is pushing 300lbs as of monday at 293. And we still have about 7 weeks to go. It puts on 30-50 per week. Hoping to break 500. Next year, I will go for 1000.

So I believe I may have inoculated my outdoor garden with spider mites from my indoor garden. I took the old soil from inside and used it to make moats around the plants to hold water. Well, Saturday I wake up and the plants have an infestation of spider mites.

I'm an idiot.

Sunday, I sprayed the plants down pretty heavy with just water and today I don't really see many mites, really weird. But to be safe, I bought some malathion and my buddy at the hydro store let me use the big dog atomizer, lol. I choose the malathion as I used it on my corn this year when I had an earwig infestation and I hit parts of the ganja plants with it, in the sunlight, and never saw any damage or ill effects.

Gonna spray em down at dusk. We will see how they are doing tomorrow.

Damn that sucks that ur girls got infected. i hate spider mites those little fuckers just keep on reproducing once they are there.
ive had that problems a few times when i used to grow outdoors. what really worked for me and had no taste whatsoever and its 100% organic is Neem Oil. Its extracted from a tree or a bark from somewhere in Africa i cant recall i have not needed it for a while. But that stuff works great, aftter the first spray they where pretty much gone and i think its a week spray not sure but i never sprayed it for more than three days. keep us posted on how it goes...
oh yeah and its cheaper than that stuff u bought for the same size. i think its like 10$. but works great. and like i said no chemicals its 100% organic... i hate spraying insecticides on my girls that cointain chemicals...

BTW those pumpkins are just incredible. i like em.

Thanks man, the pumpkins are really fun, I'm enjoying them.

Today, no ill effects from the fogging last night, and I honestly don't see any live mites. I see a few dead, but they were thinning out real good from saturday to monday, so I'm thinking that the spiders that set up shop in the plants must have been feasting on them?

Either way, they seem to be about done.

The fogger was the shit! Didn't even get the plants wet, just misted. Next time I have an issue indoors, I'm bringing this thing to the rescue.

This message goes to either Polish or Riddleme. I have a slight problem with my little "girl" and i was wondering if i can post a pic of my little one to see if you guys can help me out figuring out whats wrong with it. The reason im asking is because you guys are outdoor growers and me personally im indoors but this time i decided to grow them (one NorthernSkunk one LSD fem) in soil since i was short on cash to start it in a hyydro setup. So polish is it cool if i can post a pic so u guys can help me a little. i would start a new post but i have faith that you guys are masters at this or like i said last time an ARTIST. Its cool if u say no. i still would think ur an artist and i will still be subscribed. lol and i still love ur girls.......

yall boys in colorado are really cool man. anyway here they go.......as a grower this shit has been bugging me since it started about a week and a half....
i think i found the problem but i want second opinion. My guess is that the soil is very acidic...
.pic the water on the right is what goes in (ph tested) and the little bottle on the right is what comes out (ph tested) its been a week or so since last nute feed. the temp stays at 82 all day and at night it stays between 73-75
if it is the soil being very acidic how can i bring it up. i was thinking dolomite lime but i have no clue of how to use that stuff since i dont grow in soil at all.. so any help from riddleme or rocky or anyone will be highly appreciated....... sorry about so many pics but like any grower, the two things i hate is when my daughters get sick and my "little girls" sorry about 7 pics i will delete them soon. thanks again polish and riddleme you guys are grrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaattttttttttt like tony the tiger says....lol

oh yeah i forgot im doing LST and the yellowing and crapy looking leafs are mainly the fan leafs the smaller ones are pretty much good. but its working its way up to the other fan leafs... and whats confusing me is that it started about in the middle of the plant

sorry about that i was helping my girl with homework so i got distracted a little...... anyway i water every 3 to 4 days normally, im using fox farm ocean forest potting soil, as far as the nutrienst go im using general hydroponic the three part (purple, green and pink color), the most common one that akot of peopl use, btw i hate it but its the only thing i could afford at the time that came in a pack. and also ive used the alaska fish fertilizer 5.1.1 (foliar sprayed it) twice. i feed it about every two weeks. but when i feed it i normally add more water to the mix since i dont have ph down, the reason why i add more water to the mix is because every time i mix in the nutes to the water it lowers the ph to about 5.9 or so according to the little tester chart. and as far as the water ive been using RO water from store but then switched it to tap water. the water is in a container that has an air stone to keep the water oxygenated and to evaporate the chlorine from tap water. and just this weekend i switched once again to rain water that i collect and i do the same thing as well. i guess thats it im not sure if i missed something (im under the influence of some cheese). once again guys thank alot for being cool guys
i forgot one important thing the ph in the pic...... the greenish one is about 7.0 or less and the yellowish one is about 6.0 or a little less

at least now I know why I am seeing more than 1 problem :)

there is a Cal/Mag def mostly Mag and there is a lockout most probably due to the low soil ph

1st when using RO water with FFOF you must suppliment Cal/Mag, so that explains that problem

2nd you must be consistant so your changing water is a bad thing, have you had your water tested? do you know the break down of it via a city/county report? (they do it for free and most of em are on the web) Do you know for sure that your tap water has chlorine in it? or does your city use Chloromine? (mine does) I ask because Chloromine DOES NOT evaporate are you collecting the rain water off of a Tin roof? (only way to do it for it not to change)

and yes it would have been a good thing to add Dolomite to the FFOF before you started you can top dress some now which will help later, but first have you ever flushed the soil? if not that is the first thing to do!!! and test the runoff after each gallon you pour thru

thank you very much Riddleme i love the way you broke it down. i kinda figured i was missing the cal/mag. but i was afraid to add anything else since the ph was off. as far as the dolomite i didnt know that one. as far as the info on the tap water i have to get into that. i didnt know that they would actually give this info. very informative my friend. so ii really dont know if the water really contains chlorine chloromine. btw does chloromine do any bad to plants?
ive flushed it once on monday but nothing serious about almost a gallon. so tomorrow ill give it a better flush
i guess i have to buy some dolomite lime to help it. and also some magnesium
can i get away with using egg shells for calcium? its just going to be slow release like the dolomite right?
anyway thank you very much my friend i really appreciate it alot. youve been more than helpful. take care toke hard and stay high.... thank you too polish for being cool about this bro i appreciate it alot guys.....

yeah a gallon would not be a flush, unless they are in red party cups :) do 3 times the pot size with just regular tap water, now me I run it thru a brita filter as this DOES remove chloromine and reduces the ph (in mine by 1 point) but for a flush tap water is ok, if you in a 1 gallon pot you need to run at least 3 gallons thru it, if in a 3 gallon pot run a least 9 gallons thru it, you get the idea :) after you have flushed you can add epsom salts for the Mag 1 teaspoon to a gallon of water, the tap water flush will provide Cal and epsom salt is easy to get an cheap, grocery stores, drug stores, walmart all have it
