not to rain on your guys' parade but im almost 100% positive no one can get it

the odds are just astronomical

i wish you the best of luck though

the odds aren't against us because there was a piece of paper referring to the combination . . . if we can figure out exactly what the letters mean we essentially have the combination . . .

the odds are still ridiculous because you have nothing to reference

X could equal anything from 1-100

multiple times

you will literally have to guess the correct number of each letter because its obviously not in numeric-alphabetic order

it's not impossible though, not nearly as impossible as just trying to guess based off of /nothing/ which is what you make it sound like we're doing.

Technically you are basing it off of nothing. Cool you have a code. But without a cypher....you have nothing. So your all guessing completely in the dark unless you figure out the random possibly self-thought of encryption method. It's like trying to compile a program without the source code....you have to build it from scratch. Seemingly from nothing.

This is going to bug me for a long time. I'll be thinking about those letters tonight while I'm trying to sleep.

You internet safe-crackers make me laugh. I don't think any of you have the slightest idea what's involved.

Go borrow a plasma cutter. Yeah, just walk next door and ask the dude if you can borrow his plasma cutter. Because a lot of people keep a plasma cutter around the house.

And a roto-hammer? WTF? That shit needs to be cut; carbide bits and percussion ain't gonna do anything.

seems much more likely we'll solve the code than someone going to all that trouble to open it . . . . . I mean common this is the best case scenario having some coded opening code on top of it.

and +1 to the plasma cutter not being easily found/borrowed.

If it's a decent safe, you'd have to find not just like any crappy plasma cutter either... it'd have to be a pretty decent one. Acetylene torch is the way to go, but you'd possibly damage it's contents

Yeah, we need to crack the code, not burn up the contents trying to open it with a torch.

fuckin a . . . . . +1 again to that man jesus christ can't believe I wasn't thinking about that, lmfao.

I cracked into a safe in my aunts old wall with a chisel gun, sledge hammer and a big piece of pointed steel.
The safe was about a half inch steel on the outside and 2 inches thick cement between the steel then there was another piece of steel.
It took about 3 hours with 2 people. We found nothing valuable, just some old worthless coins and some wheat pennies lol.
good luck

the safe was also demolished by the time we were done and we were all cut up from the steel lol

I think cracking the code would be easier than someone with no experience whatsoever drilling into it.
