here is the room that i have its tight but i dont need much room to move because iam skinnyyyyy.... what do you think of it or should i change it around a little? iam a med patient so i can only grow 12 plants, i would like to have a harvest every month if possible....

4 flowering
4 veg
4 cloning = 12

or

3 flowering
3 veg
3 cloning
3 mothers (3 different strains) = 12

my room lay-out: on next post

Although my closet is slightly larger the configuration is similar to #1. My door is 18", use the extra 2" for flower area. I have two sides, flower on one side (2.5 x 4 x 7') and two story vegging area - vegging on the top (2.5 x 4 x 5') and propagation/clones on the bottom in a smaller area (2x2x2') I use the other side for storage. The bottom line is I never use the propagation chamber - I use the veg chamber for propagation/clones and vegging the plants. That may not work for everybody but it works really well for me. I'll occasionally keep a mother or two instead of perpetual cloning, they are in the veg chamber as well. Just makes it easier to manage everything and more convenient too. I just started an autoflower variety that requires 20/4 cycle so I may reconfigure the bottom (propagation/storage area) for handling the autoflowering plants if I like what I grow. Anyway, some things to consider.

if you have to keep it under 12 why not purchase clones or sneak clones for a bit? I mean that would add two plants to your veg and two to your flower which would (in my mind) equate to an extra 50% yield. Not like you need clones sitting around 24/7.

A method for keeping under your 12 plant limit would be like so
right before your 6 plants go into your flower room you cut 20+ clones see which root and throw the 6 best rooted ones into your veg room. I really don't think unrooted clones will count as plants (until they root its pretty arguable that they are just cut stems/leaves/groomed plants)

Personally if these are the three your going on, I go with layout #1. I like the fact that your grow room is 24"x52" (8.7"sqft) which is the same as your flowering room. You dont need a whole lot of room for the cloning/drying area so I think thats good, but like I said if it was me Id rather have the extra room in my grow area so that you can get them as big as you need, then take them to the flowering room, which is the same size so theyll still have room to grow alittle more after you cut the lights back. My strains usually continue to grow up into week5. So if it was me I would cut them back a little bit smaller then you want so that when you switch them to your flowering room they have the extra room to continue to grow. Looks good tho

if you could i would try to give as much flower room as i possibly could. you can clone right into you veg area and dry in the flower room. free up as much flower room as you can. it is a bitch to try and redo the room and you will run out of flower room. mine is going to 8x6 and i still dont think that enough. just one plant alone will be over 24 wide. so use that extra 20 inches you have and add it to the flowering area and figure a way to look in on the veg and clones. if you can get a shelf and clone on top shelf and free up more space. you can never go wrong with as much flower room as possible
