plant not growing any leaves?!??!

ok so the plant sprouted a full week ago now, along with 4 other's planted at the same time.
they all look normal growth wise, except the one..
it started off normal with the 2 regular oval shaped leaves and then never sprouted out anything after that!

what does this mean? is it just a messed up seed or what do you all think??
all the others are already onto their 3rd nodes so i am puzzled please post and comment!

are they all in the exact same conditions? (exact same soil mixture, container size, etc?) if so, i would guess you just got a runt seed. might take off at some point, so give it another week. if it doesnt seem to be picking back up, imo i would pull it. if it does pick back up (though it will be behind the others) it might still be ok and you'll just have one small one (even if it only yielded half of what the others do, thats still yield). hope that makes sense.

yeah there all in 16 oz cups, same soil, same amount of light, everything's the same.
there growing in a stealth speakerbox i made with 2 100W equivalent cfl's.
thanks for the info, this has never happend to me before, but this is only my 2nd grow
other comments or info also appreciated!

Yeah if all your plants are in the same conditions and the one is just doing that then it's probably the seed, it's happened to me before ha.

Sometimes there is something wrong with the seed. I wouldn't worry I'd just start a new one if you want that many plants. Good luck

sounds good.

i would also consider swapping those bulbs out for true 100W CFL', and not the 100w Equivs.

I've only had one of those before, and someobody told me that they were 'sucker' plants, and won't ever develop into a real plant. As mentioned above, I'm guessing it's just a bad seed, and nothing to worry about. Scrap it, or keep it around a little longer, just to make sure.
