I know I don't expertise which is exactly why I'm posting on a forum to try and get help from someone who does. Tbh the plant looks like it's doing alright now, I mean the leaves with bad brown spots (looks like rust) are dying and curling upwards, but there is new growth coming through that looks healthy and green so I'm feeling pretty good the plant has definitely got a bit bigger. Before it seemed like it had totally stopped growing.KINDLE_CAMERA_1396353818000.jpgKINDLE_CAMERA_1396352851000.jpg KINDLE_CAMERA_1396352851000.jpg KINDLE_CAMERA_1396353080000.jpg

Here is a link that shows its cal/mag i suggest using some epsom salt 1 tsp per 1/2 gal of water/feed while adding 1 tbs of molasses. molasses takes time to break down.

hang on... one person say its got a cal mag deficiencey and the grower says he fed it exactly that !!

shows clearly there are some ppl who are noobs and just dont know what they are doing at all.

its clearly overfed / watered ..

my ongoing point is...

if you never fed it a thing and didnt overwater it.. it would be fine.

sorry its clearly obvious.

peace though

Over water would droop the leaves. they are not drooping. Since its flowering and didnt have enough minerals like cal/mag stored it is eating itself clearly. and if he is feeding it 1 time a week its not enough. i feed mine daily in flower.
How many times a week are you feeding your ladies @blakjak

edit and how much? i feed mine 900 ppm daily that is 1/2 strength of max.

It's not over fed and it's not a cal/mag issue. If it's only on the lower leaves and your plant seams happy other then that, aka new growth is green and lush, I wouldn't stress about it to much, just keep an eye on it.

It is not unheard of for lower/older growth to slowly die and become necrotic, especially during flowering.

People don't believe me but those big old fan leaves are competitors for energy, if your plant is putting it's energy into making bud sometimes it sheds these leaves.

Do you have a scope? Have you looked for signs of pests/fungus?

What is the PH of your soil? What is the PH of your water? What is your ppm? What are night time temps, what it your humidity? Give us some more info!

that is a possibility. I always lollipop the bottom 2-3 nodes and feed them till they complain a bit then back off 200 ppm. this grow they like 900 ppm everyday. my c99 in veg likes 1100 everyday.

so far the only one that makes the most sense is squid and me. I do suggest you cut your max in half and feed her 3-4 times a week in this finish stretch. she needs bloom nutes/cal/mag you cannot give her to much cal. i also grind up egg shells and sprinkle my soil with it. almost pure calcium in egg shells. the top does look good and you dont have too long to go. I say go check out a few grows of the ones giving you info and you then can see who is talking right and who isnt.

It is a calcium deficieny, I'm almost certain. Adding mange-cal made the plant look much healthier in a couple days so got to be helping. I feed it every other watering, which atm is every 4 days they get nutes. It's Will be getting biobizz bloom, grow and top max as well as pk1314 on the next watering. HG I'm sorry mate but your barking up the wrong tree. DC you reckon I should be feeding more ? I mean the pots dont dry for two days, how is it possible to feed it more. I heard feeding 1x a week or every other watering was ok ? Also I've given it 2 doses of Epsom salts and one dose of plant magic mange-cal, do I need to continue giving it magne-cal through the whole flowering stage?

Btw DC is it proven that giving the plant light periods allows more trics to form? In the back of my mind I got the feeling it was a good thing but I got lazy and just left the lights running.

I would feed every other day with 50% dosage. that is if they are dryish in 2 days. if it takes 3 days do 75% strength. after you feed wait a few hrs and look at tips of the leaves if they are a little burnt then back off a little on the nutes. I dont water in flower i feed every time(find the perfect balance they like). once you get them dialed in make a log so next time you grow these you know what they can handle. i would also recommend taking 1 egg shell grinding it to powder and sprinkle on your soil. it will dissolve slowly and help her allot. unless you got like your cal then just give her more. i will say this to all calcium is almost impossible to overuse. they love it and use tons.

Cheers DC, much appreciation man. ;-)
you welcome. If you have questions ask. i work somedays. its gonna pick up her real fast for work. but dont rush and dont flush your plant ever. 1-2 cup runnoff is max. when your plant gets 2 weeks from finish you need a diff system. i use molasses/egg shells and
Mono potassium phosphate

1/8 tsp per gallon of water mixed with molasses. then there is no flush and your harvest will be smother tasting. but that can be your next grow lets just get you done right bro.
