poly, so in my veg I have plants in a tent getting ready to flip to 12/12. today I went out and noticed that they had very red stems and were turning lime green, and very droopy. They needed watered today so I made sure it was ph'd right and put some cal-magic i. this is when I noticed the colors. I noticed a few in the grow room not the tent were doing this also. I have tried to look up info and get so many answers. when I mean they are red, they are red.

Sounds like a P deficiency. I've never had one, but that's the only issues that shows red stems that I was aware of. It also can cause yellowing and leaf drop. Never personally experienced it, but it fits the symptoms.

well if you look back a page or 2 he was burning his plants with p now hes got redstems sounds like a lockout. need to just flush the soil if he didn't already if you did just let them sit give them some water with low fert, they are missing thier fert they where use to it and you took it all away with the flush probably. they need some time to recover now.

What up Poly, if there was best rolled blunt thread I would be posting pics for sure. I prefer the blunt through the bong. I m sure you have tried it, if not, I highly recommend it. Anyway quick question about my Trainwreck. This is my first attempt at growing and I think I might have powdery mold. Although the pics of powdery mold I have seen do not look that similar to what I have. This leafView attachment 2183857 was by far the worst so I cut it off. Some other leaves have a little bit but not nearly as bad. I appreciate any info. Thanks a lot man.

wish more of exp. users sould sub this thread somebody always need help with something and if we could reduce the number of threads that would be great.

yes ive smoked blunts thru bongs very smooth i like to do it with my doobies, but i just prefer to smoke a cigar, at least thats how i look at them anymore, once a whole blunt of killer stops doing anything thats what it becomes, a stinky ass illegal cigar, ah but i love em

It would be nice if more people would get in on this. I like what one of the other forums did. They actually have a troubleshooting form you fill out. It covers all the things people leave out. Light details, nutes, medium, watering schedule, strain, it's a handy little form, I keep thinking about stealing it. Would help prevent misdiagnoses I think.

This is one I found. May need a few tweaks, but it would help alot I think. Along with some shots of the problems, of course. Found it over at cannabis.com a while back and saved it.

poly, you are awesome. The reason I always ask my question in this thread is you give good , honest advice without making someone feel bad for having to ask. So let me clarify first. The burning is in the flowering tent and is 4 weeks into flower. That is were all the burn is. None of the plants in my veg are burned. just the purple stems. I flushed the flower tent on Wednesday. I am happy to say that they have not gotten any worse as of last night, that is when I noticed the veg tent and veg room that had the red stems. unfortunately i had finished watering before I noticed this. Today I water the veg room and I will have my ph at 6.5 and ad half nutes. will the red stems go away or is it there for good? Once again thank you for all your help.

no it will fade with time. okay they werent connected but if your using the same water for both veg and flower that may have been the root of the problem, should have adjusted the waters pH for veg.

yeah i try be nice everybody act like its common sense but its not sometimes you just dont know i remember when i had ?s and nobody would answer had to learn on my own and had to learn the hard way(plant death or worse) now i just want to prevent it from being like that for others.

i like the ide KP but im thinking something someone can copy and pastes then fill the lines in..

like this:

Medium:______
NUte:_________
description of schedule or style:________
water pH:_____________

and so on

but a troubleshooting page to copy and paste would be pretty sweet.

That one i found would work for that, you'd just have to add the blanks. Though I will admit that the letters for who they apply to could use an improvement. I saw one that was a really nice looking form somewhere before. Wish i could find it again.
