No splashing, There has been so much rain past 3 weeks, I can only foliar feed. I guess it could have been excess nutes at the tip of the plant. 1st foliar feed was 2 and a half week ago. 1/4 teaspoon per gallon, then next feeding was 5 days ago, and was also 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. last feeding also had 1/2 teaspoon of epsom salt added to it.

foliar feeds are instant and should only be like 1/10 strength of the nute, so your burning it. even if the ground is wet you can still feed just make the nute solution less diluted, so dilute half strength of recommended dose for whatever gal/L size in like a half gal then pour a fourth it around the base of each plant. but i would wait a week that plant looks alright, let it recover some.

no pics that i can see. but its sounds as if you are in late flower and loss of leaves is normal, some strains more than others.

now when you say watered 4x a day do you mean by hand or drip? or ebb and flow?

some more info might be helpful as pics are not always the answer, usually i just read what people say. sometime i glace at a pic, but who knows a picture can be worth a thousand words?

I use kind of an Ebb and Flow. I have a pump that bumps the water on to the rock wool which then dips back into the reservoir that the pot sets above. You can see the watering ring in the second photo. I also have a second plant in Fox Farms dirt that I hand water every other day that is doing the same thing.

And thanks for your help Arcturus. By the way do you know of a thread that deals with using a 18 hour day instead of a 24 hour day?

hmmm too much fertilizer trying lowering the dose. not he frequency but the concentration, seems like they are getting plenty of nutrition maybe a little too much, this can cause all the dropped leaces
and whats the difference between 18 hour and 24 hours veg? not much. i dont know of any threads that deal specifically with 18 hours light, but i have used about every lighting arrangment and schedule so feel free to ask.

Little red bugs that move quickely and White ones that look identical, also found spider webs on the plants. I assume im looking at a Spider mite problem, so I sprayed with Neem oil. Gonna wait a few days and Then transplant into different soil and change the location as well.

hmm that wont "solve" the problem tho. as long as they are not in flower i would get a pyrethrins based pesticide and hit suckers hard and early in addition to neem 2x a week. this would be a pretty good regiment for outdoors plants.

stop the neem and pesticide about 4-6 weeks into flower though and start spraying with regular water.

i wouldnt change the soil, but moveing them might not be a bad idea. the mites are coming from somwhere

I'm beginning to think they teleport. Our terminix guy sprays the back yard for pests, and I still got them showing up.

Found these little white flea looking jumpers in my coco coir ,at feeding time they come from under the surface, and float down till they can go back beneath the surface, scared me , but i read all good things bout these harmless and even helpful little diggers, has anybody else seen them and what have you heard?

they are not harmless and will suck your plants dry much like a spidermite, they are a type of flea. they dont do to well around cannabis since they are very sensitive to toxins.
they will hop on you and make you itch, but better than spider mites, since they dont have the resistance. i would kill them personally.

Hi All,

Thought i would post here rather than fill the already crowded topic area.

So i am growing an AK48 autoflower and i am a bit confused or concerned because the whole plant looks twiggy and it's rather tall compared to my other grows i have going. I will post some pics below so you could see for yourself. The colour of the leaves are all bright green and the fan leaves have gone yellow. There is a lot of curl downwards and upwards. Lot of dropping going on as well. The buds themselves don't seem like they are filling out. I don't know if it's a N deficiency, if i am am over feeding them or if it's an issue with my HPS light.

I am feeding her every 3 days and i use the weight and top soil dry test. All times she feels light before a feed.

Grow Area: Grow tent 0.9mx0.5mx1.6m. I have the HPS 12 inches from the top of my other 4 plants which are around 6inches high. i am growing with the AK48 at 65cm in the far corner of the tent so its not close.

This is what i entered into my journal from my feed today:

Days from seed: 48 (week 7)
Days flowering: 15 (week 3)

Tent temp: with fan 19 deg C without fan 28 deg C

Height: 65 cm
Water: 2 litre cweed concentrate + 10ml proganics bloom + 15ml monsta bud
ppm: 1665
ph: 6.1

This is what i recorded with the run off
ppm run off 1890
ph run off 6.8

Here is my journal of this grow for more info. I have added a list of the ingredients of the nutes i am using for reference as well.

Any help will be appreciated! :) :bigjoint:

dude you need to flush immediately slow down on the feed, alot. and raise th pH to 6.5 for a week. you keep rolling the way you are, some plants will thrive, others will die under the pressure. you have to learn to treat it like a weed it needs to search for its food and build strength. that droop is from buildup of nutriends, the rest of the syptoms are from nute lockouts and toxicity.

its an easy fix just seems like you may be a little over zealous. lol but its all good slow down take it easy the bud will come, aim for a ppm around 800 in flower, and you will never look back.

haha yeah i have been a bit generous with the feeds. This is the first time i am growing the proper way with digital measuring gear and feeds and a 400w HPS light.

I just flushed her with 4 litres of water with a ppm buffer of 140-150ppm and a ph of 6.3. The run off was 840/700 ppm and the ph was high at 6.9. I need to get her down to 6.5 and do I just water her with no added feed for the next week?

Thanks for the tips! :)
