Pictures and questions, outdoor grow

Yeah cut them lower ones off they`ll only end up rotting or getting bugs you don`t need them you want the plant to focus on fresh growth you want to increase your rootzone to leaves ratio remeber this plant is not outside

and its been selectively bread to over grow

if you don`t sheer a sheep it`ll die in the summer..............

Took off a good 25 leaves today. Mostly the really large ones closer to the main stalk. They weren't getting any sun anyways and were resting on some bud sites. The one major thing I see different from my plant here vs all the others on this site and all over the Internet is mine has buds on every single stalk all over the plant. I mean there are short 3-6" stalks shooting straight up from each branch starting right at the main stalk. So probably a good 15-20 additional little stalks on each branch growing up. Every one of those has a bud growing on it there must be hundreds of them. It's crazy to look at. You move the big branches and there they are. Tons of them. I'd like to get them some sun. I'll try and get a picture of them. I've tried a few times but the pics don't do them justice so haven't posted. I'll try tomorrow.

you know you might want to train the main top to grow more sideways it could end up being taller than your house, lol can anyone see it from the other side if it gets that tall ?

Would have to grow at least another 6' minimum for that to happen. I was under the impression once it starts flowering like this the veg growth is kinda done no? I mean it's already a good damn near ten feet high, how much higher could it get?

Nah, itlll keep growing verically until the buds start to fill in, i wouldnt worry about it. Its not going to grow another six feet, but its definetly not going to finish by oct 30, looks like you still got another 6 weeks or so minimum...was if from what we call reggies these days?or basically mexican brick weed? If you let that thing go to full fruition, id say your looking at around 2-3 pounds.

purple can either be phosphorous deficiency, or a genetic trait. some plants purple naturally as the weather gets colder. give it a good shot of fertilizer and see what it does

From what I recall I used to get my pot from a friend who was a heavy stoner, and had a regular dealer. He was into his shit so I doubt it was brick weed, although he was always broke so who knows. I asked him for seeds and he had some readily available So i took them. That summer (like '01-'02 or so) I planted one at my old house in about mid July from that pack of seeds and it grew about 4' high one single stalk and had a lot of bud on it. I got scared and gave it away. Just called the guy I gave it to and he said he got about an ounce from it. He chopped it early he said cause his neighbor asked him about it. Was nice to catch up w him. Those same seeds moved to a new house and sat in an antique tin at room temperature unsealed until this spring. I have a good 30 left, but judging by the 1/50 sprout ratio I doubt any will grow next year. Wish I had more info, but I have to believe they weren't junk seeds if my old buddy kept them. - then again who knows. It's a mystery.

The zillion little stalks with buds I was talking about. Right up to the main stem. This photo is probably about three feet up from the dirt. It's like this everywhere, all the way up to the top. More dense in other areas just hard to photograph. Too many leaves. Screenshot_2016-10-03-09-09-38.png

Working from home today, which translates to diet pepsi and cookies staring at a computer for a while, then check on the "shrub" as I've been calling it when I have a smoke break. I count 41 branches that look like this... All with 4 or 5 smaller branches off each branch just below this part. 20161002_165336.jpg

get some potassium sulphate powder , mix it up 2/3 teaspoons to a gallon flood that bitch with 5 to 10 gallons 1 to 2 times per week

you`ll lose leaves fast but that`s the fast way to ripen buds, you`ll get yellow/orange hairs and calyxes swelling in 10 to 20 days by day 20 the plants normally out of nitrogen and time to chop sme sativas can make it 30 days or more sometimes but rarely

other trick you could use is 1 to 3 grams of aspirin per gal with the potassium sulphate I find 1 to 1.5g is good for a slow fade once or twice over 2/3 weeks where as 3 to 5 grams will yellow the plant in a week, the aspirin seems to make the buds mature and ripen faster but you lose yield but that`s to be expected when your forcing an early finish, I mean that plants huge so you don`t need massive buds but I`m sure you`d like them to be as close to peak as you can get them

Next time I go out I'll get a pic of the trunk, I just noticed how big it is today. Kinda impressive based on other pics I saw on here.

thats super cropping, whether you did it on purpose or not, if you bend a branch so it grows horizontally for a while, the tip will naturally start to grow upwards again, but before it does, all the lateral growth will start to act like vertical growth, and become small cola type buds. this is usually a good thing, but it will slow down the maturation rate, more to grow =longer to grow it.
you got an awesome plant that a lot of growers would be proud of, and you did it by accident......

Where do you get that? I'm more into astrophysics than chemistry, sounds like I'd be identified as a bomb maker or something buying that. I have zero clue about it. What is it uses for besides what you described? Anyone else have an opinion? I surely don't want to have a disaster here at this point, it would break my heart. Do want to speed it up though if possible.

If anything I've been helping it stay vertical. Branches were sagging and one broke, so I tied many of them up to keep them as upright as possible. I'm not sure how a few of them stay attached, they are horizontal straight out from main stalk a good 4-5'. They look like they should just snap off. Especially with the weight at the end. I probably should tie them up better since they will get heavier soon.

it'll work, but its not the way to get the best harvest, it makes buds mature....prematurely.....so they don't have time to get as big as they could, and trichs ignore it, they mature at their own rate no matter how much of it you use, so it won't be as potent as if you let it mature naturely. normally i would say don't, but if you really have to have it out by the end of the month it might be an alternative...

I know I'm posting a million messages here, but I'm just giddy. Based on the little branches I showed in the picture should I defoliate more so they get sun? Or does sun not matter to the buds themselves?

you don't have to "make" them grow horizontally if they're heavy enough, which these obviously are, they'll do it naturally, but thats why you have all those little branches growing upwards off the sides of your branches. don't try to prop those branches up too far, once they start to grow that way its easy to break them if you try to push them upwards too far.

It's only human nature and I understand that so I don't feel too cocky about it, but you all have made me feel like the man even though I haven't done shit for this result. I want the huge cola things, I want to win the private contest between me and the world. I want to impress. It's in all of us when we have something good going. I want to smoke my own shit. I want pics of the end result to brag about. So torn. The thought of buying some weird chemicals and Fucking it up scares me. Can't it just magically speed up??? I'm turning into a wacky Fucker here. My wife just shakes her head as I check on it every hour.
