How do you guys think the AK-47 autoflowering dwarf would work out in a Phototron 9? With Ventilation Panel?

Could I do multiple plants or would I need to do one at a time?

I have my white widow mother in a phototron. One with the 3 u shaped fluoros. The problem is the lights and lack of ventilation. I am going to cut 4" holes in the thin panels and put pc fans there. Get to T5 or T3 bulbs and some fans - they work good then.

I remember when those units came out---everyone thought you would get pounds out of them and the company made thousands with the original unit. They should revamp the unit with stronger lighting and a taller unit with fans. I remember one grower I knew had 10 of the units------still didn't pull weight---lol,,, funny

hey iv got the same one you do this will be the sixth time ive grown in it the first time i grew i riged up diff bulbs and it burt the plants so i put it back the way it cam and it works just fine 18 hours on until about 2 ft then cut em back to 12 and they will be great i grow 2 at a time in mine have fun

That plant is huge now, I stopped pruning before flower, next time I may prune into flower a week.

A relative of mine used to have a half dozen of those things (many, many years ago). His only real complaints were power inefficiency, and of course initial cost vs results. When I started working on indoors grows I had actually asked him if I could buy them and he strongly urged me to just build my own.
Of course, if you've inherited them, then you don't have to worry about the initial costs.

Yeah, not sure they do that anymore.

But I know some one with one, I might see if I can borrow it to setup a good grow for him init. I will post pictures if he lets me bring it home.

Talk about late to the party! Just inherited a Photo 2 - an old beast w/ the big U lights - gonna give it a go till I can scrape together enough for a UFO and a homemade bubble system. If anybody from this thread is still around, could u direct me to a good place to get the best info for the photo pruning techniques? My seed is Lowryder Easy Ryder, Fem. Thanks!

one just followed me home and i'm cleaning it up to possibly take advantage of the windfall.

methinks one or two four-toppers (ala UnkBen) might be the limit. no way would i buy any free-standing "light closet". but this one was freeeeeee.

What if I painted the panels flat white
Removed the u bulbs and hung
A 90 watt ufo?
Any ideas?
