Soilless is stuff like Promix....it has pete, vermiculite and perlite.
And runoff from that is irrelevant. I got sucked into worrying about it a ways back. Just make sure ph of water and or nutes is right and steady before you pour and youre good.
i agree, all the ph of the runoff tells you is the ph of the run off, ie, a worthless number..
You can, to use as a reference. Checking it periodically, to get somewhat of an average, doesn't hurt anything just don't think too much of it. But if you're having issues and its not where it normally is it can be an indicator of something wrong, or about to go wrong. This is more for drain to waste thing really but if you're going to check it, check it somewhat frequently to get an average.Any opinions on using water run off to check soilless PH
