What up everyone?? Let's go on a pheno hunt for Paradise Seeds' Ice Cream. One of my favorite strains of all time. A strain my best friend says is "what all the kids want".

Day 7 since they poked their heads out of the rapid rooters. I'll start taking shots with my Nikon soon.

Day 1 - RO Water with 5ml/gallon Liquid Karma (30 ppm)

Day 3 - 2ml/gallon Pro Grow (180 ppm)

Day 4 - 3ml/gallon Pro Grow (310ppm)

Day 5 - 2ml/gallon CalMag (345 ppm)

Day 7 - 2ml/gallon (380 ppm)

Mother reservoirs drilled for netpots with Dremel tool. Two airstones run to each mother reservoir and one to the ebb/flood reservoir. Also drilled netpot holes and placed bulkhead drains on 10 gallon flower bins.

looks good to me bro, i completely agree with you about starting them in paper towel method , i just recently started growing but ive had 100% success with it so far;/ your setup looks sweet too, definitely outta my league lol but you seem pretty knowledgeable so if you wanna check my little rinkydink grow out and maybe offer some advice that would be sweet. subbed

lol only the strong survive ;/ Where are they going to flower at? i assume you have a veg room and a flower room? How big are you going to let them get before you flip the lights? Cant wait to see how they end up ive never heard of ice cream but it sounds dank :bigjoint:

All 3 rez's running at about 450ppms, starting from 009ppm R/O water. I like to slowly swing Ph up and down from 5.5 - 6.0 in a wave pattern over the course of a week or so to make sure magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese are getting their fair absorption. Don't forget, if you're using a magnetic drive pump, it will deplete your rez of iron fairly quickly...iron falls out of suspension on its own already, so a little Cal-Mag can be the answer to problems as Cal-Mag contains Fe (Iron) as well.

Currently using Botanicare: 1) Pro Grow 2) Liquid Karma 3) Aqua Shield 4) Cal-Mag

Will be adding Pro Bloom, Pro Soil, Sweet, and Hydroplex to the mix once they go into flower. I do not follow their recommendations or recipes as I've fine tuned my own method of nute additions, supplements, and adjustments.

Got it down to a science hu lol? Grow room looking like a laboratory and shit;/ Hydro sounds pretty cool , you can control the conditions like nute levels and acidity alot more than you can in soil. What would i need to do a real basic hydro grow to get my feet wet , real small like 1-2 plants??

Do this (link), except learn from my mistakes. I over did it on reservoir changes, flushes, etc. Just maintain the basics and let the plants talk to you. The basics being lighting, air, temp, PPMs, and Ph: https://www.rollitup.org/t/dwc-bubbler-grow-4-plants.35671/

I ran 3 plants, but one overwhelmed the other two and it alone yielded 6 oz under a 250 watt lamp in an ass tight grow cab (2 x 2 x 4h). If I had cloned the pheno, like I now know, I could have run it on a larger scale and who knows its potential??

It's like Robert Duvall talking to Sean Penn in "Colors"....the joke about the two bulls...the old bull and his son. Young bull: "Hey dad, let's run down and fuck one of those cows!"......Fatherly response: "Naw son, let's WALK down there...and fuck em all!"
