Ph Crazy!!!!

So, i understand the concept of ph and i no how to control my ph for the most part. My question is what causes the ph to go up and down on its own?

is it that the pants consumption rate changes daily or am i feeding incorrectly.

on a 1gallon resv. i use about 2.5 ml of micro and about 3ml of bloom and about 1 ml of grow---im in the begining stages of flowering

the ph dances from 5.8- 6.2 some days and others it goes from 5.7 - 5.0

why is this-----how often should i check my ph? i check every day but am i over doing it?

A number of factors can change ph, like temperature, nutes, algae. I only have a problem with my ph going up its never gone down unless of course I add some ph down. Make sure when you add ph down or up that you give it some good agitation and time before checking the ph again.

A 1 gallon res is pretty damn small and controlling the ph can become a hassle. Checking the ph daily is ideal.

Don't forget about adding water to the reservoir. This always changes the pH, unless you have already a supply of pH balanced water/nutes on standby.
