Well it's been a couple of days since my last update and I seem to have things under control. Hempy grow style with hydroton on the top and 100% perlite as my medium. Ph @5.8 / ppm 597 / temps 74°F - 83°F / light schedule 18-6 / nutes gh performance pack. The only reason I'm giving all of this info is so that a new grower, such as myself, will have a reference to go by. Here's a couple of pics to hold you guys over. Oh yeah I almost forgot. When should I top or should I top/fim because I plan to scrog her? Thanks for stopping by bongsmilie145439344797594869042.jpg 1454393485390-955764838.jpg

Super bowl 50 is upon us! Well what a better day to update than this. Ok, so I raised my nutrient levels to week 3 of GH feed schedule (full strength) and fed her yesterday morning before I went to sleep. I work overnight. When I woke up she was loving it. Here's a little info on what I'm doing incase anyone is interested. [email protected] / PPM@697 / RH@43% / 14548479683131015424418.jpg 1454848039696801588028.jpg TEMPS@75°F - 84°F. Strain is caramelicious. If anybody out there is looking I'm going to scrog but should I top her before I do or just let her go. I know there's going to be a difference in opinion so all suggestions welcome. Here's some pics. Thanks for stopping by... or notbongsmilie

You can if you want but at this point I for one would advise against it.You have to be careful removing alot of tissue on small plants, thats one way noobs burn the shit out of their plants.I would let this girl grow into a scrog pretty soon and use that to force new tops.Worry about topping and such when you have your setup dialed in and a little experience just growing out a natural plant or 2.Thats my 2 cents bro.

Cool, I was leaning towards doing it of course to maximize yield but like you stated I need to get this first one done. Good thing I'm not impatient and go all Edward Scissor hands! Have a happy Sunday bongsmilie

4 or 5 nodes would be fine.Looks like you are getting close another week or so.12-18 inches under the net is whats commonly seen.

Here's an update. I know this stage is not a very popular part but for someone out there it might help. All information is in the beginning and has really maintained at the same numbers. Only thing I haven't really dialed in is my watering schedule. I've read where some feed, water, water, feed... and so on. I've also seen where people just feed with no flush. I started with just nutrient water but my gut tells me to flush with plain pH water so I did. I will be waiting a couple of days to see if there is any change. Here's some pics to hold over whoever's looking. By the way the smaller one was started about a week later and was topped yesterday. I started it for a friend who is not ready for her so that's why I topped her. Thanks for looking bongsmilie1455108078243-1098774519.jpg 1455108196716915035247.jpg

A little lst if I'm seeing correctly. Nice! I've been reading/researching and at first I was worried about growth because of me trying to transplant into dwc so quickly but from what I see I'm not that far off. This little girl has really taught me patients. A friend of mine had an extra taotronics 24w led light that I threw in with her today. Let's see what all the hype is about shall we. bongsmilie
PS: Still trying to get this watering thing down. I also see you are foliar feeding. Is that plain pH water?

OK, whew... I'm finally off. Well tiiiiiiiiime for an update:clap:! I am now 29 days from seed and not much to report. I did however want to update. Question: should I cut the fan leaves or just leave her be. If anyone out there sees this let me know your opinion. Oh and how does she look for 29 days old? Happy Sunday people!!! bongsmilie1455455383541.jpg1455455409963.jpg1455455441605.jpg

She looks great man, dont cut the leaves bro, they are creating the fuel the plant needs to grow. Its looking great, leave her be imho.Just wait for her to grow up into that net.

Remember also cutting leaves etc is kinda like raising your nutrient concentration, you wont have as many "sinks",that your roots are supporting. When the plant is much bigger it wont be as much an issue.Do your lollipopping at the flip.

Welp I thought it was time for an update. No change on the numbers so nothing to report there. But I was wondering is this the sign of sex?1455709496566.jpg

Keep an eye on those internodes,im not seeing pistils. You want to see white hairs(pistils) at the internodes,if you start to see clusters of balls there we have problems in mayberry my friend. On the bright side,it looks healthy

Update time! Humidity is rising so soon I'm going to have to get a dehumidifier but it's ok for now. Feeding her half a gallon every other day because she's drinking like a sailor. 37 days from seed and here we are.
