I had made a post about LP accountability on this very subject not even a week ago. And here's the factual evidence as presented by Cynthia. So like I had asked before, wtf do we do as patients if something we rely on medically isn't "as advertised"? If I take an aspirin I know each pill will contain the same strength, purity, and quantity of Aspirin. I don't purchase it only to find out that it's lower in strength. That IS false advertising. So where do we file complaints?

K, I've been told that I have to unregister myself from PNP and prove to my Dr that I am unregistered before I am allowed the new paperwork in order to switch LP's. WTF? Can someone please clarify this for me. If this is the case, it means going months again without, then having to get VAC payments reset as well. It doesn't sound like it is worth my while to switch, when I have to get a renewal anyway for end of October. We have Marijuana For Trauma here in NB, geared to navigate the Vets through the system & get them registered with a company, that has informed me of this. To get licensed thru them, you must bring in your diagnosis & a list of all the med's you've tried in the past, watch a 2 hr video, get an allergy test, then their Dr writes you out a prescription after discussing all your history, they register you on the spot, on-line, with 1 certain company. OR, I can unregister, go back thru my Dr and search out 1 new LP.

personally I would go to the doctor that signed you up with PNP. Tell him why you need to change, give him papers from the next LP of YOUR choice .... send in paperwork to that LP...... wait for approval..... get approved... no longer order from PNP and order from the new LP

I never emailed him back and never will

Are there any legal regulations where it states I can have more than 1 LP at a time? I was told that it was a Health Canada rule. I don't want to drive 45 minutes each way to a Dr if I'm wasting my time trying to get him to fill out new paperwork for me.

Welcome Cynthia, I just called HC directly to ask about signing up with multiply LP's....and when my doctor doubted what I said... I told him to call for himself. At the moment I'm signed up with 3....it can be done. Don't ask the doctor....tell him what you need to happen......PNP can't supply you with the Medicine you need. Plain and simple

Quoting MMPR
Prohibition — obtaining from more than one source
126.
It is prohibited to seek or obtain dried marihuana from more than one source at a time on the basis of the same medical document.

This makes it possible. Johnys post (experience) is the real life example of the quoted regulation.

It was Marijuana for Trauma and PNP that told me I wasn't allowed to have 2 LP's. But then again, both of those have something to gain or lose off of me. However you want to look at it, the almighty dollar still controls their responses to me. lol ;)

call me negative all you want but that trauma for vets guy makes wanna puke, scamming vets ......the kicker is he is a vet too.... making cash off his comrades in arms then throwing to the wolves of the likes of PNP.

It's a buyer beware world we live in .... and it's no different for the sick.... beware of companies that want you to sign on with them..... most times it's bullshit. you can find all your information to sign on from the knowledgeable people on this site that would be happy to help and provide you with good info
