probably they have many customers like yourself calling to complain, which ties up the line for everyone. surprised with the advent of something called email, they would provide a email address for certain patients to order from. but like most corporate companies why waste their time with things such as that because you can stay on hold for hours..... money is king and consumers are always last in the corporate world
I registered with PNP the beginning of December, via email, which they quote "someone will be contacting you within 48hrs" afterwards. Being ex-military, I was smart enough to put a read reply on it. Needless to say, 5 weeks after the fact, is when my emailed registration was opened. I seem to email them monthly and have yet, ever to get a reply. I would be scared to order through email, as their track record is pretty dismal. So basically, emailing an order is a total failure waiting to happen, can't place on-line orders, & with a 7 hr turn over for return calls, you never seem to be able to get anything good. In a nut shell.....a useless company. For anyone with PTSD, it is their worst nightmare come true to have to deal monthly with this company!!! I do not understand why the media doesn't scrutinize this so called legal route for us patience. The news always glorifies how easy it is to get a prescription now, yet there not telling the whole truth about how long it takes to actually get your medicine, and some of the horror stories we are experiencing dealing with securing an LP. I applied back in Feb 2013 with Health Canada, had all my medical doc's signed. June is when they sent me a packet telling me I was missing info. By the time my license got here, it was the end of November 2013. Registered with PNP the beginning of Dec and forwarded my license and paperwork as well. Mid Jan 2014 they opened my registration & said everything was in order. Yet, I couldn't place an order due to the fact that they still had to contact Health Canada and my Dr to guarantee none of it was forged & that the Dr still agreed. Like wtf??? Mid Feb was when I received my first shipment. To me, a whole year is totally an unacceptable time frame in which we have to deal with. Yet, it's sooooo easy in Canada now, they say! lol ;)

I forgot to mention, PNP has random specials for the patients who get to order on-line, but, the ones who are covered are not entitled to the same deals and free products that they give away. Go figure. Myself, I love getting free products to try or deals, as I'm sure others out there do as well. Being ex-military, well, we are all for equality, hate favoritism & believe everyone should be treated fairly. I think this is why I'm having such a hard time with the differential treatment of the paying customers vs the covered ones. When you are injured in the military, you are labeled "sick, lame & lazy". You are referred to that for your final year before getting out. It is infuriating to say the least. I think this is why I take it so personally being treated on a different scale at PNP. I'm very relieved to hear other unhappy patients out there. At least today I learned a few new things by becoming a member on here. 1/ I can have more than 1 LP 2/ I'm entitled to a vaporizer from VAC & finally, number 3, my personal favorite......"I'M NOT CRAZY after all!" lol Thank-you Rollitup for clarifying those 3 subjects today. I'm anxious to see what I will learn tomorrow from everyone here. ;):weed:

the only thing I can add to what your saying Cynthia is ..... if your not getting emails returned, bad service, bad medication and all the other shitty things that you so far had to go through (your not alone in this) but now that you realise you have other options like changing LP's, yep they make it very hard for you to do that, I think we all know the reason why.... to ensure they receive a paycheck from sick ppl! remember you can still use these guys while your in the process of signing up with more LP's..... hassle yes defiantly.... but we as patients in this broken system need to drop these crappy LP's so they go broke and hopefully are replaced by LP's that actually produce medication not crap ditch weed.
Remember to be strong and no your not crazy, it's a broken system from the beginning and lots of ppl on here will say it's going to get better but.... as you know "always prepare for the worse"... it may get better but you wouldn't be alone in the thinking of ..... why is it crappy now, shouldn't they have been able to produce quality in this time frame? This topic is discussed to death on here LOL.
read the reviews off this site from a lot of patients, other sites don't seem to be as honest and straight forward as the reviews you will find here ... in my opinion. look at the thread of pics of home grown and LP meds as that will show you what good meds should look like .... as your experience with PNP probably never seen quality at all so far.
You may have to go through a few LP's to find one that has quality meds and great communication. I have not seen many happy experiences so far which is disappointing, very disappointing for a system this long in the running. When your choosing a new LP make sure they are shipping their product at that time as some don't ship till june or july so you may have to wait for them..... if you live in a major area some times you can go to a compassion club to get meds, normally very nice ppl to deal with and some will even mail order meds to you after signing up/membership approval.
So there are still a few options for ya, don't give up ... your not alone in this.

K, this may sound like a stupid question, but, when I first applied, it was a packet of forms from Health Canada, including one for the Dr. Now that the system is supposedly making it easy (LOL), is there a name for the form that my Dr has to fill out? If so, do they have these forms, or can we print them on-line to bring to him? As for what I have received from PNP....not one so far has been over 15% THC. Even when they state the THC content on-line, once you get it, the content of THC is not what is advertised. Example taken directly from their site this morning. This example is taken from the secure shopping that you order from.

In my mind, this is false advertisement. They have a new strain finally available this morning @ 16% THC, but I'm expecting to get bought out again by the on-liners before someone returns my call to place my order. Day 4 of disappointment. :(

Yes Shopify is what most guys use. We opted for a more feature rich scalable enterprise option. The website is built and ready to go the moment we get the go ahead so switching to Shopify is not really an option at this stage. I have to have a look at the rates and compare them. Stripe is a flat rate service vs. regular processor who has lower rates but has other fees. Anyhow, thanks Stripe is a great suggestion.
Yeah, I don't know what the best option is. If you're taking online payments, Stripe is the easiest to do with the least amount of PCI compliance and security required (they do everything on their end). I would rather put their fees into my pricing than send people to a payment gateway that could be annoying to use in any way.

Great job on the custom platform though - I agree wholeheartedly. The whole reason I'm involved in this industry in general is because someone approached me with questions about shopify and whether or not it was sufficient. I also told them not to use what everyone else is using unless you want to be like everyone else.

Saying something that is not true and misleading..
Ya.. That would be false advertising.

It would be funny to see one of them charged for doing exactly that...BEOFRE all the rest jump on and say...' they were doing it" lol
What a ride. Sure beat Canada's Wonderland.

Medical Marijuana is Canada's Wonderland ... lol

Peace Naturals milled product that they're selling with those names like Nyce N Ez is just all their waste sugar trim ground up and they're charging over 4 bucks a gram? Funny.

@Cynthia: Tilray is one of the more corporate LP's as well but they seem to be doing a good job, better than Tweed atleast. Rumours have it the buds they're currently shipping were bought off the street (coz they can't have had time to grow all that already) but atleast its not garbage like Tweed's shipments.

I would put in a complaint to Health Canada. That is a violation.

Does the outside number say "provided by Leafly"?
They might be strain-specific generic numbers from Leafly like many others are using, while the actual private shopping area has their own results?

EDIT: Clearly didn't read how it says it's a mix.

That said, I don't know if t's false advertising if the place where you must go to purchase it actually has the correct numbers. Hard to say. One could be strain generic and one could be batch/shipment based.

I had the manager of customer service call me back this morning & I was able to finally place an order. New strain just released this morning, Wildeberry, 16% THC .5 % CDB. She guaranteed me that it will be shipped within 24 hrs. as opposed to my last order, which took almost a week to get shipped, then another week to get to me. I feel they are misrepresenting the %'s in order for clients searching for a new LP. This way, it actually appears to the public that they have fairly good stuff. Once your registered and have on-line access to secure ordering, this is when you find out the differences in the content. Kind of a form of trickery. lol Regardless, I am a happy camper right now, knowing I don't have to sit by the phone all day again & that there is hope on the horizon, so to speak. I might be getting my hopes up as for the quality, but, hey, at least it's something to be hopeful about. :weed:

I had made a post about LP accountability on this very subject not even a week ago. And here's the factual evidence as presented by Cynthia. So like I had asked before, wtf do we do as patients if something we rely on medically isn't "as advertised"? If I take an aspirin I know each pill will contain the same strength, purity, and quantity of Aspirin. I don't purchase it only to find out that it's lower in strength. That IS false advertising. So where do we file complaints?

I don't think that matters as it is advertised as being one % on their site where the point of sale is made by the patient based on the information listed at the time of purchase. Also, this is the ONLY info a patient has access to to make a decision on that particular purchase. So false advertising seems legit to me. If not then a bait and switch at the very least. Both of which are punishable offenses for businesses.
