So I had a bit of time to myself and I figured out, why not assist the new growth, The fan leaves at the top were really blocking out the light and creating a huge shade for the smaller growth near the bottem. I don't know if what I did is correct, but there is definately a lot of nice light ready fo the new shoots to use.

Soo I finally put up my Scrog net! It could have been done a bit sooner, I'll keep that in mind with my next grow. Anyway, after all the time put to planning, constructing and thinking, all I need to do now is wait. The Scrog looks like it's working, the only difficulty will be with the watering now, I'm going to have to probably water the plant every day or two.

From what I can see, there will be six main tops, which is nice. I don't think I'll be topping any more, I don't know how I'm going to manage with the space on this run.

When it comes to switching to 12/12, I think I'll have to wait a bit more. Maybe one or two more weeks, depending on how fast/how much of the net will fill.

Peace. :D

looks outstanding so far, your topping is superb, very well done, plant looks healthy too, love the scrog screen, so I would veg until the screen is 70 to 80 percent full, keep guiding tops under the screen so everything stays at screen height, then when 80 percent full, flip the lights to 12 12, then for the next 10 or 12 days you continue to guide tops under the screen and during that 12 days you will fill the screen 100 percent, doing this takes a bunch of the stretch and keeps it under the screen,, then after that, let the rise up into colas, , guide the colass around so they all get even light, and you should be rockin it

Hey guys, sorry for being a bit absent, lots have been going on lately.

Thank you very much for the break down and the kind words. I keep reading on Scrogging but practice always helps with the theory and I have no practice what so ever. :D I'll keep updating, but for now it looks like she is growing nicely. I'll be watching carefully on how much she fills the screen, don't want her to grow to much and burn herself.

Hey man, thanks fo the watering tip you gave me on your post. A few days ago I took the whole thing out gently and poured about 200ml of water right under the plant and there were only a few drops of run off. So safe to say that is the amount of water I'll be using. I'll just have top calculate how many ml of nutes to add.

The strain is Big grapefruit I believe, it is a sativa dominant strain so I'll have to be careful for it to not over grow. If I remember correctly your chocolope was a sativa, wasn't it?

Man I hope you find yourself a good tower soon and get back to growing, your journals were great. :D

Peace guys and have a good one.

Yea that chocolope is a sativa dom it's a 70/30 mix. But if I can't find a tower soon im'a just use the one I have again an just veg for like a week or so then flip her over. Be ready for that stretch if yours is a sativa Dom too. From your pics I'd say another week maybe less an flip her over.

True man, I'm going to have to get some warm white cfl's soon and like you said, I'll be preparing to switch.

On the other hand, I'll post a few pictures of my outdoor autoflower. She is a Jack Herer at about four weeks old, so she should start to flower soon. I'll be keeping my eye on her to notice when the vertical growth has stopped, then I'll switch to some bloom nutes. Very simple LST, keeping her nice and low, trying to expose as much bud sites to the sun as possible. Probabley another month and she will be ready-ish(?)

I was also pondering on whether or not I should clone my PC grow. From what I've seen from your journal Ghost, it is much easier and faster to grow straight from a clone. But on the other hand, I would have to take the cutting now, root it and keep it somewhere for the duration of the PC grow.. so it is a bit out of the question since I have another month to go (hopefully). Iif I had another PC box I could pull it off. So maybe for this grow I won't be cloning, and when I build my second PC box I'll give er' a go. I'll still have to think about it.

Or... I could take a cutting during the flowering and revert the clone back to the vegging phase, but I've heard that it isn't advised.

Peace guys.

I have been having some problems of sorts lately. The lower leaves are turning yellow, some of them have been dropping off. Doesn't look good to me, but I suspet too little amounts of nitrogen. NOw, I kind of hope this is the case, because I an solve it by just addig more nutes. But it does strike my a bit, because I have been giving the recommended doasge. Well, the bottom line that is, because bio-bizz states that 2-4ml should be added to a litre of water, and I have been giving 2ml, maybe that is not enough considering the age of my girl. Anyways, I'll have to star adding more (about 0,8ml in 200ml) and see how it goes... damn, maybe that's why growth has stopped... oh well, you live and you learn.

Hey guys, what is up?

Today I switching my timer to 12/12. Can't wait to see the famous stretch. Tim, I didn't fill the screen out like you said, because I have a too small of case to properly utilize such a technique. But if I EVER build a grow cabinet like your one (I just checked out your journal, bloody hell you have an amazing setup) I will definitely do it. ALSO that advice NapalmD gave you is a gem, because I have serious problems with watering in my PC case. I'm going to go now and try to buy a plastic container like that.

Anyways, first time switching to 12/12, I thought it would be a magical process, but alas, swapping lightbulbs and setting the timer is not as amazing as I thought. :D

So I have three 25W 2700k bulbs, same like the 6500k ones BUT with a new weapon in my arsenal. When I saw the last 32W bulb in the shop I just had to get it. It has a wopping (more or less) 2400 lumens, so that's nice. It's so big it actually touches the material I use for reflecting light. I hope it won't burn or anything like that, I'll just have to be careful.

Have a great one lads and good luck with you grows!

You should be able to fill that screen out pretty good. Mine looked about that big when I flipped her over on the first one I did. U will be surprised how much sativas stretch. Your going to have atleast 2 weeks or so of none stop stretch. Im interested in just how much she will stretch because I mean all strains are different.

I'm quite interested as well, mainly because this is my first ever flip to 12/12 + this is a sativa do m, just like yours. I can't inspect my plant just yet, because the lights go back on in another 2h. I'll add some flowering nutes then.

Get ready for a good bit of stretch after flippin to 12/12.
Should be fun to watch.
I would like to see someone mainline one plant in a PC.

Yeah man, I'm quite excited. You know, I was actually thinking of mainling this plant at the beggining but I eventually didn't. I'll definitely try to mainline on my next grow when I get a PC tower. Should be tall enough for that technique.

Cheers for stopping by.

So just now I was thinking a bit about the dark cycle and it struck me that I have never had my fans on during that period. Plants during no light need to breath o2 and in such a small box, the levels of oxygen probabley run out fast. The plant seems healthy, so its not suffering from lack of oxygen, but I was thinking that maybe it could be growing at a much slower rate because of the no air circulation.

What are your thoughts on this guys, do you keep your fans on 24/7?

On the other hand, no air circulation could be an invitation to mold and since this is the blooming phase, the plant is more vulnerable to it. So generally speaking, it probably is a good idea to keep the fans running, albeit at a much slower rate (since no lights are working).

Looks cool. I have a dozen old PC cases, maybe I should save them? How many ounces can a lowly PC box pull?
