Are you serious?!?!? You are doing this in a PC grow with under a 100 watts of light and that being CFL!!!!! FUCKING AMAZING DUDE!!! Great job really, I think the plant looks great!

Hey Guys.

I was looking at girl today and was noticing the main cola looked pretty amber. The rest of the sites are white with a hint here and there but the main cola is looking almost done?

I would assume that its a good idea to take the main one down and let the others get more light. Any tips/advice?

here are some pictures as well

I wasnt expecting for it to be finished. Looking around i think the flowering time is about 10 weeks. I am about week 5 i think.

What do you guys think?

are you talking about the hairs getting amber or the trychs getting amber? because i think you still got time to let that girl sit... most of the time your hairs are gonna be super orange or red by the time your plant is ready, and even the main cola has a lot of white left. its really the color of the trychomes that you want to check, not the hairs.

I am a newbie so my advice is shit, but from what I've read ;) I would wait longer, not nearly ambered up enough. There's great expert help on here I'm sure will chime in.

P.S. Once again keep up the good work, you'd be dangerous in a room :)

Little update.

I fed the girl 100% full solution of the 1-2-3 GH Flora series. I fed about 2 Gatorade bottles:P Though when i was finished and checking things out and removing leaves. I noticed that a lot of the tips.

Just the point of the leaves. A lot of them have it are a slight yellow tip

I looked around and it could be possible nute burn. I sure hope now. Im not sure if i should leave it be and let the plant take everything in or if i should flush with lots of water.

Any advice RIU?

looks like a little nute burn, nothing major. i suggest cutting back on the strength a little and you should be fine from here on out.

no need for a flush, the next watering, just run enough water through her until her ppms are back in range. here's a tip for you, if your plant looks healthy there's no need to up the nutes; you'll only do more harm than any good.

Thanks for the tip. i dont have a ppm pen. Maybe next time. Ill cut back and some good ole RO water.

I just realized that my timer again got messed around and i am not sure for how long. It was running basically at 20/4 ... ugh i sure hope its not for a long time but its now back at 12/12 except for today where its about 18/6 ...

Fresh 2 Death sounds like he had good advice, plants look good and a little tip burn seems inevitable in most grows. Keep up the nice work man.

Yeah it was good advice. Im gonna feed with just water for the next two times.

The smell is faint but still good :) i noticed again that my timer got messed with . This time there was an adapter plug that had its 'pins' pushed down and increased the light cycle once again.

Geez 3 times now. Next time i will get a digital timer.

To test everything (my "skills") out i want to take one of the lower buds off and trim and dry and cure it. It seems like a decent nug size.

Would this be a good idea?:)

I didnt have much time to mess around i was doing it with the LED on and some with them off. They look cloudy to me

What do you guys think?

The one where theres a clear view (the last one) they look clear.

I think the others are just refracting the flash/lights in the room.

edit: this is also why taking a lower bud wont reflect the plant

I should be getting the hydrometer today and ready to prep for the chop.

Trichomes seem cloudy . i havent seen any or much amber.

But my update is for the smell. I am finally smelling it. I always have faintly but now it is more noticeable and it smells great:) I tried putting a random carbon air freshener box in the box but it did nothing :P i will put some in cheese cloth and put it in the light trap. This would be helpful during the hang/dry phase i would think.

I think i am ready to chop her down soon :) .. but also :( lol

I 'accidently' took off one of the lower buds. So i decided to take the top portion and put it in my mlfb ; not bad .. not bad at all.
I then decided to jar it and cure it to see what thats like. I think i have a long road ahead of me :P

20130424_145811.jpg20130424_150117.jpg

i had it hanging around for a day and a half and put it in a jar with my cheap walmart hydro meter; it was 70-71% all day til this morning it was 80%; So i took it out of the jar.

Question:

When i am drying do i need to have a fan on it? I figure i high em in my PC box ; small quarters. Do i need to have a fan(s) on them? They would not move around just a small 12v fan blowing up. is this necessary?

not really neccessary and could dry them out unevenly.

I just put them in a DARK empty cardboard box with a side open but no light going in.
