Day 17 of 12/12

I dont think any stress was placed on the last surviving plant and i think i have a female:)

I fed the (hopefully) girl GH Flora 2-2-2 (transition to bloom stage) at about 50% diluted with water.

took time to train some more and i think i see 16 Bud sites; since this is my 1st i would figure the bud sites are the ones with the white hairs coming out:P

Without further delay here are some pictures:)

How is my LST job? Comments on that would be good seeing how i just 'played it by ear':)

Great job so far, and yup that is a female ;). I would count flowering from the first time you noticed the sex of the plant, that should help you determine when to bump up the nutes, other than that keep up the good growing !

Quick question to who ever reads thjs thread:)

At times it seems my setuo hits
90-91F with 80 rh.

I dunno for how long it sustains that temp.but I don't think it is for long. Because when I check I usually see 85-87 w/ 37rh

I guezs the rh raisss because with my run off water I let it be and evaporate.

Any thoughts?

IMHO if you can drop it a few degrees I would, but if it's not feasible I wouldn't worry about it too much. Like you said, its not like 90-91 is the sustained temperature. If the latter, make sure you understand heat stress and what to watch out for.

Otherwise good looking start brother! Just keep on top of making sure that the main tip lower than the other sites and LST will show you what it can do.

Thanks Dragon.

Im trying to keep my Main tip lower; its hard it keeps growing upwards.

Does it matter? Or should I keep on lowering it.

more Pics to Come soon .

Just watered them again with a rough estimate 75% solution of the 2-2-2 GH Flora series.

next i will flush with tap water then go 100% 2-2-2

the longer you keep that main tip lower, the fatter those side branches will get so stay on top of it.

Ive been trying:P

I checked up on the girl today and it seems to be taking the 75% 2-2-2 solution well.

I added another light; 23W daylight and switched out the mini 16w daylight for a 23W.

Now i have 6x23w Daylight (2) and Soft white lights(4); Hopefully It doesnt get too hot in there; I checked after an hour or two of running and it was at about 87F 37RH

im not sure if i have to get another PC fan. i have 4 ; 2 in and 2 our. I think i have room for another if necessary but i would rather not.

I got some nice pictures and the sugar leaves look lovely. Too bad they are going to waste since i dont want to deal with the process of making stuff with i have one small plant; Unless someone can convince me otherwise:P (Any thoughts?)

But these white hairs i see some brown tips. Is this heat stress?

This isnt on the main cola but one of my good ones. Is it heat stressed or is this normal?

Looks good man. My first grow was a PC grow and I fucked a lot of things up but still managed about a half ounce with 130 watts cfl. I think you could get more out of this definitely.

Im hoping that each budsite produces about a gm :P

if your environment is hitting 90-91 i would suggest of a way cooling your area much better than it is as of now. anything of 85 degrees causes stress and i am pretty sure is having some type of effect on your plants.

Im trying to cool it by moving the lights around to make it so one of 23W is on Top instead of near the flower sites and moved a 16w cflin place

i removed a floating intake fan which i suspected of just blowing hotair around

I now have just 3 exhaust fans and just doing a passive intake.

the position of the fans are

2 on one side; On top of each other ; one on top and one in the middle

1 on the other side at the bottom.

I will check in a few hours to seee how it goes. If its still too high i will start taking lights out

currently 108 watts;

I decided to remove a light. The temps are about l 81..

I just realized that my timer was not working. I'm not sure for how long. I sure hope just day but it had way more than 12hours. Hopefully not a lot of stress was created.

Hey Riu.

Thanks for the complements :)

I havent had a chance to get my Pics to the PC so i thought i would do one big Picture update:)

Everything appears to be good. I went away for the long weekend and came back to a healthy plant *what a relief!* since I had watered just a day before i topped her just a bit to keep it moist enough to last a few more days without a full water

My temp issues are not optimal but I cant figure out another way to cool the area without taking out more lights or keeping my 'viewing flaps open'. What do you guys think? The average temps are
LOW 67-71 at night RH 30%

High 81-84 RH 35%

* I actually have not been keeping track of the temps the way I ought to be. Maybe next time

My next feeding will be tomorrow with 25-50% of 1-2-3 of the GH Flora series (Blooming and Ripening mix).

I have no idea how long the flowering period should be and not sure when i should begin the flush to prep for harvest. Ill need some help with this everyone:)

Does anyone have any suggestions on when I should start to prepare? It seems like 97% of the hairs are still white. Which is good because i want the other bud sites to plump up.

I cant find a place to buy loupe / microscope anywhere. Time to hit up ebay! And i need to figure out how to harvest & cure :P

As for the smell, there isnt any really. I dont have anything in the box. When i walk into the room i can kind of smell something but nothing strong enough to make me want to 'hide' it even though i am not concerned of the smell. I ask the lady time to time and she doesnt really smell anything. I believe it is the strain though.

Sorry for the long post. I use this as a journal :P

I have an urge to trim some fan leaves to let the lower sites get some light but i cant do it. I have removed some flower sites that are underneath the canopy since they get very min. light but i cant do it for the others:P

Here is an overkill of pictures.

For a scale. The main cola is about the size of a Bic lighter:)
