Really? A Dispensary opening is really an entire reason to want to leave a state?

I constantly try to get my head around this mentality but cannot. How do you know they aren't going to have killer herb and killer deals?

fact is for me that i wouldnt "want" to leave but until things get changed so that everyone is allowed to grow it certainly is being forced IMO.Im so broke I have to scrounge for bags of soil and what I grow is at the very least 2x better than any dispsary/club crap ive gone to as of 6 months ago.I do not believe there is or ever will be dispensary meds good enough and cheap enough to help someone in my situation...basicaly a strain that works, super potent, clean, hopefully organic and almost free. I even had a hard time finding that with my 60 bucks at most places.Im willing to let them make a liar and nay sayer outa me ;)

even my "no tech" approach gives better and way cheaper than any of the dispensary meds I see. At $20/gm...I can't afford to even look.

Legalize and these issues all resolve themselves nicely. You can buy from a dispensary or you can grow it your self.

heres why, when legal moves in the prices goes down. its better for business to leave. how many times did you pay price for weed all the time and never get a deal. bro just wants to get his money back, its fair.

dont need a piece of paper to tell you you can grow.

To be fair here this whole situation is being looked at from a few different areas.

1. Patients who genuinely feel cannabis helps them and cannot afford to purchase it. (Disabled and Elderly)

2. Caregivers who have made their lifes future bet on this industry and they don't want to go to jail and want to continue to build their bedroom enterprises.

3. Patients who CAN afford meds, are super excited they are open, are hard working blue and white collar people, who voted for Prop203 and consider most of those who opppose the 25 mile rule as ignorant stoners.

So you know which category you are, you can find like minded individuals and bitch or make something happen for yourselves. You get to decide.

Says Lucius, mouthpiece for the dispensaries. Sorry but your previous posts show exactly where you're coming from.

As long as the dispensaries exist in this state they will fight tooth and nail against legalization and the disruption of their monopoly. They are no friends of the patients and they are no friends of potsmokers.

So far of all the many patients I know, absolutely none are excited about the dispensary in their area opening. The would just as soon see it burn down.

Don't let Lucius ruffle your feathers.

There is a 4th category he missed: those who need cannabis as a medicine, realize the dispensary medicine is not up to par with what has been homegrown the last 2 years, and are fed up with it.

That's where most of this board lies, and Lucius, you obviously are the one that should be finding a new group of people to bitch with. Maybe there is a board out there with disgruntled dispensary owners who can't keep up with p2p clubs around town that you would better fit in at.

I've said this before... each and every one of us has the ability to vote with our wallets. I certainly don't spend money at establishments that don't fulfill my needs.

I can't afford to pay dispensary prices for 2oz/mo. That's my house payment. We don't operate on Phoenix wage scale here

way to try and put me into an imaginary box. No thanks. Ill stay anti 25 mike rule and growing my own. Those "clubs" are no different than Dispensaries from what I can see. Except that a good potion of them charge more. I think we can take the word Compassion out when try are charging $65 1/8th

Every club I've been in charged $300 per oz or less. They also obtained the stuff they were marking up from caregiver surplus.

What I can tell you is that dispensaries will resist us tooth and nail on legalization because they're into their little monopoly for $150K plus. We've effectively created another enemy we will have to destroy before it can be legal.

Im putting in 3 more years to finish school and im GOOOOOONE. Cali, colo, washington or w/e..... I like AZ, but im outtie asafp. Most people in this state are shady bastards and the state government is even worse. (not counting a few i have met that were amazingly nice, helpful people)
I cant fucking wait, especially after living 25 miles out for the next few years(or further as clubs open up)

Category 5:
The prices below are for the Organic top-shelf from a single dispensary (grown in dirt so to typical Arizonans that means low yield):
With that said, still $25 eighths and $200 ounces direct from the menu. Some AZ non-profits have hydro ounces for $430, quality does not compare. Production is production, costs do not vary that much. The typical patient in Az cannot afford those prices, gotta think volume.

Also notice how growers are repped next to their meds... In AZ that request is considered offensive by some owners for whatever reason. AZ is trying to rewrite the book instead of follow a more or less proven manual.. An alliance between patients, growers and dispensaries needs to be formed, the concept of meds only being available from a dispensary is what is dictating the pricing and lack of quality.
