Pathogens

I need to know if I can grow in outdoor soil without adding a bunch of amendments or baking the soil like some suggest. People talk about pathogens and viruses in soil, but how harmful are they? The soil is a 7ph loam like peat moss with a little sand in it. It is in a colder northern environment. (75 in mid July) If it makes a difference it will be a sour diesel strain. I will also be starting indoor for a month or so till it gets warmer. Thanks.

Indicas grow better in northern climats since they have more resistance to cold and more chlorophyll. Diesels are sativa dominant. Also you want encounter soil pathogens 90% of the time. If a plant is healthy it actually can produce different phenols to fight pathogens. Lamp
