With three alright to great grows under my belt im looking to beef my garden up a lil bit. Ive mostly used miracle grow with descent results, and i have some compost ive made and i applied chicken shit about 3 months ago to the bed where they will be rasied. Can anybody suggest any good nutes for veg and flower. Ive looked around and tried to pick through the hundreds of companies telling me their prouduct is the best out there. Any ideas welcome organic or not.

Just keep it simple amigo, simple veg nute, flower nute, add some bat guano to yer soil and thats about all you need. Not time release stuff! (which miracle grow usually is im sure) dont buy into all the hype. I recommend 'canna' tho wHether available to you is unkNown

lol

nutes also only have a lifespan of around a year.. be realistic, dont spend more on nutes than you get returned in yield :-)

compost a large variety of items, and it will be full of enough nutrients for an entire grow from seed to harvest. things like eggshells, dieing leaves, bark, wood ashes, coffee grinds, fruit/vegetable leftovers, anytype of leftovers really. and use Molasses to feed the beneficial bacteria. because they need to break down all these items into their basic components.

Molasses is also a good flower additive.. its high in P and sugars/carbs. so id double the dose in flowering stage.

I noticed on advanced nutes website that it has an outdoor nutrients section. Does it really matter whether its outdoor or indoor?

Yeah man compost is the way to go,ive got a pile thats been cooking for about a year and a half. last year i planted two plants off to the side that i diddnt put compost around and it was like night and day diff. Tokesmoke420 do u put molasses in your compost pile?

Thats pretty much the way i admend my soil you just have to make sure the cow manure has composted because if its to fresh it might burn the plants. Ive been useing mg products for a couple yrs with good results just take it easy on the feeding until the are established to feed full strenght. Its VERY easy to burn you girls with MG, its alot better to under feed than to over do it.

Outdoors I usually just go with Scott's or Miricale Grow since its usually to expensive to use something like Advanced Nutes or Fox Farm Outdoors, but this year im gona go with Dyna-Gro's Veg & Bloom nutrients for my out door plants. For being one of the cheapest nutrients I can buy at my local hydro shop there actually a really good brand and seem to work out great with the strains that im growing. I can get gallons of their nutrients for around $35.00/gal where the other brands of nutrients are always around $20.00/Qt or L
