sry, i cant rember what ur growing.. if they r 2 diff strains then u cant really compair
This is Dr. VonDankenstine---I got a new email add and changed my password---now I can't log-in under my old acc with the new password---lol---lol---lol... Krusty---great job with the chemo--different strains not only like different ppms of nutes but different ratios as well. Once I get his log-in fig out we can get it all fig out---I love the chemo strain for its medicinal properties(one of my fav indi's) not familiar with cindy... Stumps---keep rocking--I should have this logging worked out shortly---I might get a warning or time out from the mods for the double account but this was the only way I could get back on here-------To the soil question---I really like working with 1/2 coco----1/2 small perlite now--you can still rock organic but at much faster growth rates.---easy the flush----easy to feed--great O2/H2O ratio---I still add dolomite lime but only in flower(more phos uptake availability) you don't need it in veg unless you are using RO and don't add a cal/mag supplement.--I like the coco-blend stumps is using as well but add 1/2 perlite...You can make your own as well1/2peat or 1/2coco with--1/2 perlite----1/8 worm castings---bat guano2tbs/gal-soil----dolomite-lime3tbs/gal soil...:mrgreen::mrgreen:

I don't remember if I added any perlite to the coco. I did add a little lime. I'll be setting up some new soil soon and tyr that mix.

Ok doc no problem. The cindy is a cindy 99 crossed wit the chemo.Very stable strain from what I'm see'in.They where sitting right under that light leak along with the widows and the only one to hermi was the wids.Think the flavor is better too, much more fruity and not as musky as the wids.
No hurry so have no fear we're not going any wheres.Just got done cloning 2 new strains to the run ( white rhino) and a g13/white widow cross.Northen lights should be ready this week so we're trying that strain too. I'm still looking for that super tasty and haveing fun growing all these diffrent ones, lookin.

so my seeds have cracked. They look strange. They don't have the green look. kind of yellow and clear. after I took them out of the hum dome the ones that cracked grew 2-3" one fel over so I put it back under the dome and in a few hours it was up again. over the night two have fallen and one has turned green more like what I'm used to seeing. any ideas? humdity is 27-30% temps are very mild lots of air moving in the room. used the same seedling soil as the last two grows.

those temps are pretty high. I never run the room over 80.My light on temp is 76 and light off temps are 68. Ya may want to add a fan or vent them more to get those temps back down. Well, unless yer run'in co2 then that 90 might be fine. But without the 02 your a tad to warm.

Thanks for that, I thought so too, added a small PC fan last night hoping that it would help but didn't really change much. I wasn't really expecting any of these seeds to pull through. But I got one out of the 3 that sprouted and is looking REALLY good for right now. I took one of the bulbs out. (I didn't get a sprout until 2 days after I added the second light) So I will check the temp in the morning and it should be back to a good place. Thanks again

Doc looks like the extra feedings payed off.I harvested the 2 white widows today at 20% amber thrich and at 58 days in bloom.

days as clone: 7
veg: 2 weeks
days in bloom 58, 8 weeks
Still all foxfarm nutes and soil but fed every watering and extra tiger bloom.
Finished just under 2 ft and started about 12. They really dont streach at all and I'm having a hard time getting them tall enough. Hell got one now in veg 6 weeks and still has yet to hit 2 ft. I'm gonna let her go till she gets 3ft if it kills me.I got to that 3 ft tall bud cuz they bud top to bottom. Thanks again doc,ya got me back swing'in.

Take your room size measurements first. Then decide how many lights you want to run in that space. It's kind of funny but most growers have a false understanding of how much dried medicine that will be able to grow. The best rule of thumb for most is 1/2 your wattage in grams. (a 600 HPS will on avg produce 300 grams of dried med) of coarse there are allot of other factors that can increase or decrease those numbers---strain----all grow-room factors-----co2----health of plants...ect...------The worst I ever did was .36 grams per watt in the beginning of my indoor grows and the best was 1.16 grams per watt but if you figure at .50 gpw you will be very close to what your room will produce.

I have a stripped down version that is less complicated(it's in my book that will be out on 1-01-10) but I will post most of it here if there is enough interest---most growers stay away from grafting but it's fairley straight forward with the proper tools and sterile conditions...
