One of the hardest decisions I ever had to make.

Hanna Tri-Meter and the Truncheon there ya go. You can do two things at once by leaving the hanna in the water and checking everything while your mixing your nutes in the 1 gal with the truncheon.

I seen the Hanna for 120 maybe even less and the truncheon for 90 and again maybe less. So for 210 you get 2 ppm, 1 temp and 1 ph pen. So for the same money as a trimeter just about you get one more probe to multi-task. It definitely would benefit me if I was buying and money was no issue.

I use drops, but yea... you do have to know what yellowish-orange looks like.

Plus, I feel like a fuckin scientist mixing shit up in a little beaker.

Don't use drops but I soooo know what you mean about feeling like a scientist. Keep saying I'm gonna buy a white lab coat to wear when I'm in the garden!

My personal experience with Hannah meters is they suck. FWIW. I like Oakton, but the cheap ass Milwaukee PH pen works just fine, too, and it's like $15.

+1 on the buy separate meters.

And if this is one of the hardest decisions you've ever had to make, well, must be nice.

I have combo meter... Best money I have spent for my grow room. Under 200 that's steal. Keep the ph pen in that cap, I didn't and I had to replace after year half, but even that's awesome for the abuse I gave it. Never needed calibration right up till it died, 80 bucks replacement with eas bnc connection.

Ya I buy beakers all the time on eBay for mixing, cheap work great...
