round one was a bit of a bust. i got the volksgarden sooner then i had planned on and wasnt really ready with the plant numbers that are needed to optimize the system. 600 watt lamp with 0.5 lb return all premium high grade A beautiful bud and you can see it at the beginning of my first VG grow. i am thinking judging from last grow that if this plant likes the wheel as much i stand a chance of somewehre between 2 and 3 lbs, though i am axpecting severe flack for suggesting that this is possable.

seeing a 2-3 lbs. yield from one 600W would be pretty convincing of the volksgarden's potential...

but in all honesty, that seems like a stretch...

lets say you pull off 2.5 lbs....

2.5 lbs = 1120g/80 plants = 14g/plant
1120g/600W = 1.87g/W

im pretty skeptic right now, but i hope you pull it off and prove FDD wrong, as that would make me convert to the VG instantly

good luck & grow well

(blackberry kush?...*eyebrow raises*...i may know you...LAX CC?)

is it even possible to stuff it with 80
you would have to trim a lot of fan leaves i think

I personally would like to see 1-2full lbs and I would be very satisfied, that would be 2-5x your investment.

Ive got a question for you Fdd. Your from cali right? What are some good strains in the shops that would be good for a volksgarden grow?

Does the volksgarden decrease the amount of the it takes your plant to finish flowering? I know they claim it shortens veg and I think you vouged for that, but I didn't catch whethere it decreased flowering time. And... I would say throw some hinduskunk in there for some cali club bud

Are those botanicare nutes chemical or organic? Looks like a great setup. Hope you pull it off. You know somebody is about to accuse you of working for the Volksgarden company if you do well.

i sure would like to do a side by side test of plants in the Volksgarden compared to stationary ones with all of the other parameters equal

i'm not sure, i've never grown indoors without being able to adjust the height of my lights. we would need something that doesn't stretch or care that it's too far or too close to the bulb. i would assume indicas only. but i really don't know.

Volksgarden needs an adjustable wheel, so you can make it bigger as the plants get bigger.

 Maybe I should patent that before they do.
