Thanks! bongsmilie

Can you please elaborate and give specifics? I am seriously considering dropping 5Gs on a Roto Grow or GI Grow in the next week rather than having 3-4 traditional ebb and flow tables under 4 or 5,000 watts for my first ever hydro grow. I would really apprecciatte some honest feedback from somebody who actually has experience and credibility growing WEED in a rotary garden. Thanks.
some one like you with such a limited mental cap should stick to flat land, but then the idea of you having a nightmare gigrow or burning in your bed has its upside

gee bill you really seem to have no comprehension capacity what so ever cause the guy just said he thinks rotary systems are a waste of time and then you ask for his opinion. "I would really apprecciatte some honest feedback from somebody who actually has experience and credibility growing WEED in a rotary garden. Thanks." I'm really sorry for picking on you bill, i guess its just taken my a while to realize how handicapped you really are, please forgive me.

check out craigslist for a used gigrow, i see you can get ones that are "barely used" for less then 1/2 price, now that ought to tell you something about that persons experience. they dont want it after using it for 1 or 2 goes and they are willing to take a bath on the price. hmmmmmm....good deal - that was vegas craigslist and its there right now

Lol. I don't know what to say. I can say I've read only like 2 other threads that omega was attacked in, and not only did he not contradict himself, the people attacking him were obviously kids, maybe 13 or 14 years old. I don't even know omega, nor have I ever spoken to him, but until I see something where he truly contradicts himself, I'm not just gonna believe he's a liar or a hypocrite.

But the thing that saddens me is here in the blue corner we have Bill, who is considering dropping a huge amount of money on a rotary grow. Then, in the red corner we have Omega, who has shown at least a basic understanding, and what seems to be an intricate understanding of these machines. Yet the only thing going on is "LAAAADIEEES AND GEEEENTLEMEN...."

*DING DING DING*

FIGHT!!!

It's pathetic because as fair-headed as Bill seems, he still chose to call omega out publicly -- rather than messaging him, seeing if he really knew what he was talking about, and depending on that info, Bill could then judge whether or not it's BS. At least it seems that would have been the best way to possibly get some insight. Oh well, I truly don't care either way, I too wanna see a grow journal with one of these.

Bill, you totally put everyone in the jury box with that one statement lol. You in law school?

Omega, do you currently have a grow going with one? If so, I don't get why you don't just post pics or something lol.

finding "barely" used systems on CL means that they are junk? hmmm by that logic Omega Gardens are junk too I guess:
Rotary Hydroponic OmegaGarden Grow Systems
complete rotating hydroponic system

howdy Blink

it seems to odd to read something sensible up here.

I am not in operation mode at this time but I may be up and running pretty soon. i stated earlier that i dont like to run in the summer because of the high temps, but that is winding down, but i bet before i get going again the Seals will have their site online and there will be no need

the first one is a volksgarden and the guy says he paid 2300 but that would be including shipping so he paid 2k and now wants 1500 bucks for it so thats not out of line and the second one doesnt say what brand name it is. so again with the low mental capacity showing - maybe be there is a special growers forum sorta like the special olympics that you can join just so you are on a level playing field if you know what i mean, but of course you dont know what i mean. :dunce::dunce::dunce:

How do you figure? I don't think he has given anything but general information that I couldn't find on Omega's website.

It's pathetic because as fair-headed as Bill seems, he still chose to call omega out publicly -- rather than messaging him, seeing if he really knew what he was talking about, and depending on that info, Bill could then judge whether or not it's BS. When I called him out, I had literally read every post that he had written on this forum, and I had already written off his credibility based on numerous contradictions, lack of objective non-generalized information, no substantiating evidence, and last but not least, his character.

Bill, you totally put everyone in the jury box with that one statement lol. You in law school?
Nope, not in law school. I think the clues are pretty telling if you troll into omegaspammers message history. I found at least 5 contradictions among his posts. And I found a whole bunch of nasty, rude, personal attacks, similar to the ones he directed towards me on this thread. I seriously think there is a high probability that the guy has bipolar disorder or similar. "Mind bottling"...

I'm sorry Producer for all this BS...

I swear I didn't know it would be like this when I suggested you talk to Omega... I don't know him or any backstory to all this and I don't think I want to know. It's not always like this here though, so if you do buy one of those please stick around at least long enough to let us know how they really work and post some pics and some hard numbers please if you can.

For the record if anyone does use an Omegagarden I would seriously appreciate just one high res picture. A 1920x1080 image with a load of mj in full flower looking right down the barrel so to speak. That would be an incredible background image. The only thing better than that still picture might be a 1080p video of the same thing that could just loop forever.

We all love looking at good pics and that thing is just prime for one.

Best of luck either way...

Hey thanks OregonMeds! Yeah this thread did get a little heated but it's always nice to see what the people have to say. But please, if anyone has more to bring to the table, step right on up. I would love and much appreciate all the information I can get.
Thanks.

guys...well stay away from omegas.... ask any hydro shop and they will tell you why... I know somone who thought they would of been a great a idea and bought 3 of them...Now there just sitting in the corner if the room cuz they were not what they were hiped upped to be... There too big and bulky and flood the cubes with wayy too much water... I hate water retention...this is what kills rotational growers.. bad ..

.hers some pics of my GI grow in actions..from starting out and mid way on.....
however rotation gardens are good in my option but the best way from what i have seen in the past 3 years.. are the Coliseums and Home build stadiums. Yes i said that right..(( Northern farmer...) hes my hero.. I say this b/c Gi grows and omeges still take up a lot of floor space... 6 by 5 or however your size... but a Coliseum wiil only take about about a 3 foot or 4 foot Diameter amd then goes strait up>> up to 8 feet or more...thats the space you want to be filling in a room you could fit 3 to 4 colis in a room where you could only do maybe one or 2....
and i support the Homebuilt stadiums cus for the price it takes to fill a 240 site with Rockwool blocks and plugs..over 260 bucks" you could have a 8 to ten foot 5 tier statuim built for the same price and still get 6.5 lbs out of it..and that can be growing organic if you wantted too..and your not messing around with hydro.,..

Do rotogros have as bad of a problem with water retention as omegas? I know rotogros have a rez on top that drip nutrients as opposed to dunking, but I have read about failed grows due to too much water too soon. I don't know if thats the same as water retention neccesarily.

Gi grows are a mist system right? How does that work exactly? Is it like the roto, where it drips nutrients from the top?

what a bunch of crap about the water retention. its a flood and drain system like countless systems out on the market. now if you are going to be a dummy and water with every rotation then you are possibly going to have problems. you only need to water for one rotation a day and in extreme cases twice a day, and the rotogro waters the same way.
if you only water to a depth of an eight to a quarter inch then the capillary
action of the rockwool will take what it wants the same as a gigrow but without the stupid plumbing it has. the water retention argument is week and lame

bill rotogros and omegas, water from the bottom.... the plumping for a gi is very simple..a 8 year old could set it up...you have a pump in the res that has a 5 foot polly line and feeds 10 drippers..then as the cubes pass they get a small stream of water....when you want them too..

there is one system that does spray from the bottom....there made by hydrotex...those are some sweet systems..and they can hold 360 plants...there called oddosseys...those guys are sweet... i know of a guy in cali that swears by they...cuz they only stray a very tiny mist of water and can have them alsomost going 24/7

wow what a read that last thread was! seriously, I agree w/ the guy saying aren't we suposed to be cool chill out growers or what ever? lets use this forum to help one another "GROW" Litterally!
I just got 2 G grow's & have 1 up & running now! I started w/ 100 seeds & pushed them to fast going right to bloom. I lost half! Yikes! painful & expensive learning experience! the ones remaining, are strong & healthy! I plan to start the second g grow w/ a 6 wk grow cycle before switching & know I will have better success!
that being said, if I started w/ clones in Grodan, it would be friggin rediculous!!!! :)
more soon gentleman!
