Dont waste you time with TGA at all IMO

Yep Flying Dutchman the Pure is my top choice....Mr. Nice shit second...Flying Dutchman Skunk #1 was the stinkiest so that maybe what you want...The Pure and the shit were more potent...the shit stinks too
I agree there unless you like the space dudes hermaphrodite side that is most always passed on with TGA gear lol .. I have some cuts worked from TGA gear and they are the most unstable in my collection due to space dudes pollen ..

On the note of the real Road Kill Skunk, it can still be found in Land Race Afghani and it almost got my ass busted a few years back due to the stench and dead giveaway odor of road kill ..

I almost lost my job that round as well by sharing some bud with a guy at work , he was told not to open the jar until he left the plant . The idiot did not heed my warning and temptations got the best of him . He decided to open the baby food jar of skunk bud in the bathroom and the odor immediately made its way into the food plants ventilation system alerting everyone in the office and plant . Guy got caught later that week with the bud in his car at lunch time :(

Luckily the staff and management thought there was a live skunk somewhere in the warehouse and production was put to a halt . The whole place was shut down due to this and it took hours before management gave permission to begin production once again lol .. I had the hardest time keeping my self from laughing due to this all ..

Same crop almost cost my ass several times as neighbors asked about a skunk living somewhere in the neighborhood , then to top it off I had a bus driver looking for a dead skunk under his buss due to me being in the bus with bud lmao .. What a blast that was lmao , he seriously believed that there was a skunk ran over without his knowledge lmao .. I still have many beans but mainly use them for crossing with elite cuts as the real afghani skunk is where the terpene comes from in my humble opinion .

Why is it that every time you tell someone NOT to open something till they get home, the first damn thing they do is open it? I know exactly where you're coming from man!

I been looking for a long time for exactly the smell you're talking about, but I agree that there's a fine line between putting that smile on someone's face when they get a whiff and just getting caught everywhere you go. I also like absolute smell proof containers when passing stuff out. I've triple wrapped in baggies before with no smell concealment at all in the car. If I don't have a jar or something, I'll use one of those tins that Camel Snus come in and wrap a piece of tape around the seam.

Nice writeup PPS, and thanks for the thread TX!

Just for fun, I looked this up:

http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Road_Kill_Skunk/CannaVenture_Seeds/
"The RKS STINKS! No sweet smell with this one, at all"

So apparently it is the original skunk #1 and Afghani...as previously mentioned.

And digging a bit deeper:

http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Afghanica_aka_Kabul_Baba/Flying_Dutchmen/

Takes us right back to F.D. breeder.

Hehe!, I have places to grow this strain...in-ground where no people exist. That sour smell blends right into guerrilla grow environments.

Good luck finding the Bodhi one that sold 66 packs in minutes..believe it was chem 91 X RKS
And prolly he wont release it again but Cannaventure had a real deal RKS

Yeah that was the exact reason that the DEA RAT Sam Skunkman made the strain...to make it easier to detect for the LEO
what did you pull that one out your ass? sam the skunkman is the jack ass that bred the skunk out of skunk. nice try though..lol,:bigjoint:

Old School (REAL) Skunk is extinct. Sucks because that was my favorite bud of all time. All the suggestions you are getting are bullshit, there is no real skunk anymore and you will be wasting your time and money messing with these so called "skunks" that smell nothing like a real skunk. Today's skunk has a flowery type smell added to them, not funk skunk.

Althor I hear you, rks is the mission I'm on hopefully will find what I'm looking for and bring back some old school skunk. The kind of skunk you would smoke at bus stop before school and then just end up ditching class for the beach. I appriciate everyone's input thanks guys/gals

I gave up about a year ago after 3 attempts using different breeders. None of them came even close to "that smell" from the mid/late-1980's. Prior to that, our market was dominated by Panama red...until Reagan declared private war on that country. That's when the roadkill skunk flooded the market, much of which was grown in Kentucky that supplied our area. That state has been underrated for breeding, the original cross for herijuana came from there. I'll wager someone there probably still has the genetics, buried somewhere near the still and sour mash.

If your afraid to pop 20+ beans to find what your looking for, then your likely to never find it.
The "road kill skunk" that everyone talks about isn't around anymore, clone or bean.
We always just called it SKUNK, and I'm certain it wasn't found in 5-10 beans.

The mid-late 80's in the "middle east", USA is the only time I ever remember it being around.
Had beans in it, most people didn't save them and probably wish they did now.(including me)

Probably moved all around midwest/mideast back then, didn't know.
It must've gotten around back then, did yours have beans in it too?

Yep. I have gone back and checked with some of the people who had incredible hook-ups with skunk during the early 80's hoping someone may have stashed some seeds and no one does. They have all grown old and most have stopped smoking at this point, much less be saving seeds for 30 years.

The skunkiest strain I've been around was Matanuska Tundra. Yeah its not a skunk. The one we had was and F2 off of Sagamatha's seeds, so I don't actually know if they are all skunky or if we just has a unique one. Either way if someone opened a jar in another room it really did smell like someone hit a skunk with there car. Twice as skunky as any strain I've ever smoked or grown with skunk in the name!

Yes, and in some cases quite a few beans...but not nearly as many as you still see in that Mexican brick shwag. Sad to hear this is a lost strain.

Road kill skunk is still alive in New Mexico. The hippy fucks who have it just will not part with beans or clones. I used to get it for $200 an ounce then it dbled to $100 a qt oz and now its up to $20 a gram. Fuck that! Its good weed but for $140 a qt oz. ill stick to buying the Cali orange thats killing it.
