Old school skunk

Devils Harvest Shoreline? I have not seen it mentioned in this thread. Worth a shot. Devils Harvest Shoreline Feminised Seeds

SensiSK x Oasis

Shoreline is an old Sensi Skunk strain which made its way to the USA and there a group in Texas selected it. Sometime later, after a Grateful Dead concert in the Shoreline Amphitheater, the clone received its name and began to spread around the world.

From what we know the original Shoreline has been long lost but somewhere along the way someone of this crew made a cross of Shoreline with an Oasis male from Dutch Passion in order to preserve the strain. Again it was grown out and another clone was selected and this is the clone we are using today.

This is one of the stinkiest strains we have ever used. It has the really strong aroma of an old school skunk. What makes it unique is that the smell comes through on the taste. It is unusual to find a strain that carries a smell and flavor that are the same.

This is an 8-week strain with an old skunk look, very easy to grow, with a fast flower. She turns purple after week 6 and begins to smell the room.

Shoreline is a must strain for everyone and will make anyone’s top list. We have been honored to work with this strain and now we can bring this unique clone to seed form by making S1 seeds.

I saw true strait up skunk i mean absolute rks in PA circa 2000. Smoked an 1/8 of it at a Pantera show in early 2001.
A friend use to grow lots of Skunk bud outdoors in Honeybrook PA out by the Amish farms in the 80's and 90's. The strain was what everyone would immediatly refer to as skunk bud. I once bet a buddy a quarter that he wouldn't walk through a retention pond in the middle of winter. Sucker stripped down to his boxers for the bud. It was freezing outside but he did it for a quarter of this green. A friend who use to help trim up at harvest time was gifted a foot and a half long women beater that weighed one and three quarters oz from one trim session. At the time it was the best weed you could get. Still believe it would give most stuff today a run for it's money. The strain was of Afghani origin by way of Cali and is what most referred to as skunk bud or now as rks.

This was different from what was becomming available from The Seed Bank(Mex Alp gold X Columbian gold X Afghani) and Super sativa seed club (Columbian Gold X Thai X Afghani) in 1985. The 2 seed banks had different skunks. But Skunk bud at the time did not come from those seed banks and I believe is the Afghani variety everyone referred to as Skunk Bud. Two years later Afghani #1 made a round but was completely different from the original Afghani skunk bud. Sadely the grower lost the battle over 20K and the following year was caught walking out with trash bags at 5:30 in the morning. That was in 93 and the last time it was seen. In 89 some of the seeds were in his crop and I had one outdoors that was 8 ft across but only 5 ft tall. Like a wall of bud with many tops. You couldn't get into an elevator with any amount of this stuff on you without everyone knowing someone had it.

The person who suggested it was an afghani I would say you are more correct about it's origins than any of the sweet skunk varieties the seed banks carried even as far back as 1985. The skunk bud we had did not come from the seed banks because it was already around at that time. And I would bet most of what people refer to as skunk bud is the Afghani in question. A friend did have some about 2 years ago and I begged him for just a little but he didn't have much to spare but sadly that was the last time I have had the pleasure to smoke it. I do believe Maser to be a great place to start the search.
Hope that helps.

Hrm, doesnt sound right. Skunk was around long before the late 80s so hard for it to be a NL line from the late 80's.
I personally first started seeing Skunk bud in my area in the very early 80s. I was told at the time it was coming out of the Ozark Mountains.

A friend pulled out some great looking NL the other night. It looked and smelled great.
He was saying how you just don't see the old skool NL like you used to and it was refreshing to taste it again.
Did one nice bong rip and was in outerspace for a few hours. He had some NL hash too but it was snowing and time for me to roll.
I was so blown out by the one bong rip the hash wasn't on the list of things to do. (light weight here and Dabs are just too much for me)

Love to hear some of the incredible details if not too confedential. Good luck with the NL.
Cheers

It was in the northeast in the early 90's. Skunks in the road or outside on a summer night make me all nostalgic about $5 bags of skunk and 5 of use getting stoned off our asses.

Haven't smelled anything like it since then. If you weren't aroun for it, you can't understand just how much it smelled exactly like a real live skunk.

It can't be extinct. It came from somewhere just has to be found again.

I saw true strait up skunk i mean absolute rks in PA circa 2000. Smoked an 1/8 of it at a Pantera show in early 2001. Was getting mids that were strait up skunk around the same time...my mum used to come down and check outside checkin for a skunk. but godamn those mids werent that seedy but i bet i threw away 100's of em at that time because they were around for like a year strait...id kill to have those seeds. Maye if i ever c my dude again from that time id ask him about his hookup bc those dudes may still be around. Dont think they were growin it but you go up the food chain ya kno. From what i read the G13 labs super skunk is the best reviewed rks. I smell a slight skunk in a lot of strains maybe all we gota do is do a little breeding to bring it back out. If ya want something done right you gota do it yourself.
I grew a skunk#1 in/from pa in late 90's early 2000's and it was pure road kill but I also had plenty of mids that were also called skunk bud and were also Skunky. I have s2's in my collection from middies seeds that I breed that came from that time but I don't recall keeping a Skunky pheno as I was going for more berry as that was harder to get at the time. How the times changed .LOL o yeah these beans I have are huge. Like twice the size of nowaday beans so maybe but I won't know for along time as my list is pretty big and its like last in line:/
