Bcga, osba, reeferman genetics, crop king, canuk seeds etc. etc. all these guys may have some good genetics. heck they seem to have cool named parentals so theres some potential? Great reviews, people happy with the outcome. Lets face it, properly grown humdrum euro genetics can be fire to 75% of the toking population, right??? So who to buy from? If you want legit work, get a hold of the MAN, whoever he is, like Cannarado, Subcool, and many other breeders/chuckers/seedmakers who put themselves 'out there', and buy their stuff. Sometimes, though, the MAN doesn't have a good interface with the 'trending' generation, and others capitalize monetarily because of this. All you are paying for with 'seedbanks' is mass reproduced work that you can do better with in your 2x2 tent, IF REALDEAL genetics is whats important to your 'rep' medal, that is. Do your homework. Cheers
Doing my homework has paid off these last two years, but the day I talk about making a wrong choice, I had zero experience buying seeds..Anywhere. Previously I grew form bagseed, and gifted seed. I'm much more thorough now, I think. The main reason I'm here is homework.

Anyway can anyone point me to where I can get reeferman genetics from?
Seed Cellar out of Jackson, MI has a few lines distributed by BCBD and BCGA.
I'm sprouting my first from them now, though Reeferman says BCGA is a fraud.
I've emailed and got response from BCGA about this, and they say "they own the brand", and I should just buy some and see for myself.
At your own risk I guess.

I placed an order with OSBA a while ago and they shipped very quickly and efficiently.
Reeferman Pink Kush and Alpha Dog Tuna Kush, I know there is a huge chance they will not be genuine but so long as it is a Pink Kush I am good!
They did not have the one strain I wanted and added an extra PK fem seed and 5 more Fem Alpha Dog seeds. Not bad!

I will be starting 3 of each strains this week and will update with pics during the grow.
The most important part for me is that they are very strong Indica strains!

Let's see what happens!

Good luck. Truely! I'm not convinced they're good. I soaked 15 beans, and only 1 opened and showed a tiny white tail but that's all I got. I have one more pack of 10 Orange Peako Cambodian, and I will treat them with kid gloves because I want dearly for them to grow, be fire and produce f2's. However, new experience is keeping my kid hopes in check.
I'll be looking forward to see what you get.
Grow on, stay safe and healthy!

If you guys are looking for some of Neville old Genetics check out my company Connoisseur Genetics .
I was passed the whole collection of Neville's grail project he did with Kangativa and have been working with some of the strains over the years.

I offer 2 Mullumbimby X 's using the famous Mullumbimby madness x Nevil Haze 21 made by Neville

Dangerous dog Regular seeds = Mullumbimby Madness x Nevil Haze 21 x Super Silver Chemdog Haze Male ( Reservoir seeds)

Or

Australian Dead Head Feminized seeds = Mullumbimby Madness x Nevil Haze 21 x Casey Jones clone Reversed

I'm also testing some new X's of Neville's which were Outback Haze and Swiss Thai/Nevil and have hit them with the OG Kush dom Male and they are in testing now.

You can look online and verify my Neville Genetics are the real deal and come from British Hempire who got them direct from Neville himself ( RIP)

DM me or Email me for more info.

Thank you. I'll keep you in mind after some homework.

I feel the same way...LOL!
Last grow I stupidly went with Pacific Coast Seeds in Canada, another huge waste of time...
Ordered Pink Kush and Godfather OG, all 8 plants turned out to be a cookie strain...WTF??

EDIT:
Dropped 3 PK and 3 AD seeds tonight.
I should have news in 3 days...

Had a quick look in the perlite this morning and all 6 seeds have popped!
5 have taproots already heading down with one just cracked and no taproot yet.
I am on day 2 of germination!

I had huge issue with germination and lost a lot of seeds... I always used the paper towel tech and it worked well.
Recently it has been a no go for me so i researched new ideas and found one that has worked flawlessly for me!

I discovered it on 420mag forum, so it is not my idea!

To start with, grab some red solo cups or any opaque cups that you can cut.
Cut/drill an opening about 2 inches from the bottom of each cup, I drilled a hole as you can see in the pictures.
Label the cups with date and strain. Now tape up the hole with some duct tape.

Fill each cup with perlite and leave about an inch and a half gap between the perlite and the rim of the cup.

Using R.O. water or your water of choice, add the required amount of Kelp supplement and stir well.
Add the mixture to each cup until the perlite floats and leave for 3 hours to soak.

Go and choose your seeds now! Have a smoke, some tea/coffee etc...

After 3 hours, remove the tape over a sink or bucket and let the cups drain the excess water.
You will be left with a 2 inch high reservoir of water that will keep the perlite moist.
Leave the cups for a further 20 minutes and then poke a hole in the center of the perlite and place your seed and cover with moist perlite.
Place a clear plastic cup to act as a humidity dome.

Place on a seedling heat mat and wait 3 days.

On the third day, I was told there would be a seedling showing it's head. I thought they were joking...
So far, every seed has germinated in 3 days.

The next part is the fun bit!
Allow the seedlings to grow for about a week, you want a nice long tap root.

Duct tape the hole shot again and slowly add R.O. water to the cups till the perlite and seedling are floating.
using your thumb and forefinger, carefully lift and twist the seedling free from the Perlite. Any perlite that is stuck, leave it alone as it will not cause any harm.

Just before floating.

Before you do this, make sure you prepare your soil and pots.
The soil needs to be on the drier side for now as it is easier on the seedlings.
I use organic seedling mix and find it works well.

A nice and healthy tap root.

Once out, grab a pencil and measure the root and poke the same length hole in your pot. make it nice and wide so that the tap root will go down unhindered.
When correct, gently work in the soil from the sides of the pot to press gently around the tap root.
Once secure, press down around the seedling as normal and water.

You should end up with all your seedlings safely transplanted in their first container!

Thanks! That's a neat technique. I may give that a try next time.:D Good job.

Start of day 3 1/2...lol!
All beans have popped, 2 broke surface while the other 4 are still getting rid of their shell.
May have to give them a helping hand a bit late.

So I would say germination was a success so far! The real test is how they grow and if the strains are accurate!

Will update again when they are all up!

@mawasmada

Transplanted all the seedling to gallon soil pots.
The Alpha Dog are growing like weeds while the Pink Kush are very slow. One of the PK has tiny first leaves and may be stalled, will assess tomorrow and possibly start a new seed to replace it with.
The Alpha Dogs are out of their humidity domes and are under the QB now, PK still have their humidity domes for now.

Will update with a pic when they are slightly more to look at!

@mawasmada

The Alpha Dogs are doing well so far in a sense. Some weird genetic traits going on with the first leaves, so we will see.
They are growing well though.

The Pink Kush on the other hand has one successful seedling, one in the midst of stalling and one stalled...
I have started another PK seed and a bagseed of Sour Kush.
Hopefully my Barney's Farm seeds arrive soon as that PK is a stunner!

@mawasmada

So it looks like their genetics are pretty shitty...
Out of the 6 seeds I germinated, all 6 popped which was nice but only 2 are thriving!

I pulled on PK that was not doing anything to discover a 6 inch taproot with no side branching...
The PK are weak and only 1 may survive...

The Alpha Dogs are looking better but only 2 out of the 3 are really growing well, the last one seems stalled.
I have one more germed and should be transplanting it in a few days.

My Barney's farm order arrived so I have started 2 Pink Kush, 2 Tangerine Dream and one Lemon Amnesia.
Done with buying seeds from shady vendors...

I'm sorry you took the hit. Taking one for the team is tough, but you taught a lesson to another regarding seed sprouting. Thank you for both.
I've been(within the last year) getting into Bodhi, and Snowhigh gear. No bad luck there at all. I've been reluctant to order any Barney's Farm(I do love smoking their Vanilla Kush though!) because I'm new enough to seed buying that I've not gone for European outlets..though a few have caught my eye.

And, how do the Orange Pakos look? any Updatemawasmada?
Not had time to start them. I'll share when I do. Likely not until Dec.

Edit: I'm keeping them in cold storage until I've got time to take a chance again. Bodhi and Snowhigh beans keep popping without issue, so going back is tough.

Oldschoolba has some killer genectics.. Recently bought Peaches and Creme, Fruity Loops, Killamanjaro Vanilla Kush and Sherbert (Free).. everything Feminized.. had some mild germinating issues.. But my friend Ryan in customer service was easily approachable and validated the warranty.
End of the day have some killer British Columbia genectics that are top end..

Give oldschoolba 5/5 for being an honest trustworthy vendor..
Enough with these sock puppet accounts. They aren't good. Why aren't they carried by any seedbank? Cuz the company is a ripoff and wouldnt be around if they worked like every other breeder.

This thread is 5+ years old and not a single verified great grown plant has been shown by this breeder.

Since you grew out so many can you post a link to your grow journals or upload start to finish pics of each of those strains?
