Old school breeders association

Hello Goldberg. I first heard about thes guys this past December in a HT ad(something I usually take with extreme caution). I was intrigued by some of their genetics and their web site, but could find no reviews. Having procured stock previously at Treating Yourself Expo, I hadn't dealt with ordering in a while. I am not on anyone's sabbatical, I just thought my 2 cents worth might help someone who was in my situation. I am old school myself, and have yet to find the current stuff as good as what I did in the sixties and seventies. As a Vietnam survivor, I can assure you that. Black Wlie was the real deal, minus the goat shit feertilizer. That being said, maybe you know where land race genetics might be obtained. I've tried Doc, Wild Rose,Sensi, Jordan, BC,Greenhouse(never again),and still haven't nailed it. I've had good luck with Flying Dutchmen hybrids and a guy named Cash Crop Ken( can't ever find him). I'm no Luther Burbank, but I like to tinker with genetics looking for the Holy Grail. The best I've had since the seventies was. Nevil's Early Pearl and NL5 x SK1. The current variations of these ain't even close to what they were in 1988. Sorry bout the pix but I live in the Southeast and there and there is still a witch hunt on down here. Peace, bro. Look forward to your reply. Oh yeah and OSB has a twenty five dollar intro pack that's really decent . Try it.

Thank you. I'll check them out . Most of the heirloom seeds I have purchased have been weak specimens at best . I'm specifically after Colombian redbud/Panama red or Colombian Santa Marta Gold. Oxaccan gold would be nice too. All input welcome.

Chill-OM from Mandala has real good report over at IcMag. I have a pack of it think it was only 30 or $40.

It is Colombian x Indian sativa. I did a ACE Panama Red which reminded me of a Oaxacan Red I had back in 79. Was called 'mohackan' but I think they meant Oaxacan so...

I ordered seeds from them back in the beginning of June. I have still yet to receive them. I have not been diligent about calling them when they weren't here in a timely matter though. I called once on July 24th and they said that they were going to do a reorder for me and again today and they said that they would try sending them parcel this time. I am going to wait 15 days and see if they show up. I will let you know what the results are.

Jen, I hope you got your seeds by now. A friend of mine has been having a problem too. He paid express shipping, but it took 4 weeks. Their genetics are great, but if you can't get them... I am going to do another order soon, but the shipping problems people are having concerns me. What's the latest anybody.

Just got mine today. I also received 10 free ones of Afpak: Afghani Pakistan Hash Plant X Skunk. I will start the germination tomorrow and keep you all updated. Thanks for all the positive hopes of them coming through.

I hope they are good. You could have been half way through flower if they had timely delivery. I'm watching but I must say they are starting out WAY behind the 8 ball. Because the ONLY thing I wait 3 months for is BUDS to fully develop! bongsmilieKeep us posted.

I'm with Goldberg on this one. Maybe I just got lucky on my initial order. My friend has been in touch. But, he is still waiting. I'm gonna hold until I hear more. Glad you got yours Jen. I did have some hermies in the Dead Head Kush. Quality was good though. Are early hermies just to be expected now. The Black Willie had none.

i only sighned up to help on this subject.i am an old hippie, did not growe for years, had a family to care for.but back is the day, mountaim siides, thousands of plants, big growes. What U Harvest depends on the work you put in to it.I have nothing to gain by endorsing old school breaders association, but i can tell you from personal experience the old school breaders association has good seeds anf good genetics. they are nice folks and will make all orders good, i had an order lost in the mail and they resent it.u highly recomend BC Mango, and Bubba Rock

Ok. I can now give an honest assessment here having ordered Black Willie. 2 times. Out if my first twelve seeds I got seven females, all outstanding yield and quality and very similar. In the end though, the buds looked nothing like the pictures . Good cerebral buzz though. 8 out of 10 on quality and yield. Second batch 6 out of 12 females. More variation than the first batch with two individuals that looked exactly lined the pics. The darkest purple I've ever seen and covered in trichomes. 9 of 10 on quality. Don't flower more than 10 weeks. 9 on most of mine. Very skis shipping is my main beef. Hope this helps.

I first encountered Osba in high times and like a nubie thought if it was in high times it had to be good. The strains looked interesting and orders over 100$ received 10 free seeds. My dad has been looking for some good light green bud, he lived near Seattle in 60s-86 before moving to Alaska, seen the picture of old school OG and thought that was His strain. We ordered 10 reg. OG kush( received 13, 12 germed, 10 females) and 10 reg. Dbl skunk( received 9, eight germed, 7 female), they sent us 10 free tajakistani hash plant, planted two both popped. They all look good and healthy, 1 og just put into bud. But they all smell like lemon fuel( rubbing stem). Dbl skunk smells skunky with slight floral/sweet. Cant wait till there done! But bcbd god bud and black are a lot smellier and more vigorous growth. Nothing in bud yet all stem smelling. Also got a purple kush clone from a somone in Cali supposubly, but it smells dank!!!

Old School has been around for some time. I haven't personally grown out their seeds but I have heard some good things.
I am wondering if the grow out other breeders strains to produce their seeds because it appears that may be so, but don't quote me.
Here is the point. They give credit where due so it doesn't really matter. If they do the work and produce a quality product they deserve to get paid... If you grow out a tomato seed and sell the tomatoes at the market...... do you think that seed company cares?????
Weed has been around as long as man. There really isn't anything new under the sun so who really cares what some guy calls something that was made by God to begin with.

I did order from them just to see for myself but it is too soon to tell you anything about that process.
If you do likewise, keep me posted

I've had good luck with their genetics. Not as stable as I would like, but dome are exceptional. Slow delivery was my only beef.
