Your plants look really happy, no leaf issues or cupping. What's your feeding schedule like with the jacks? Do you feed it every time at a certain amount or by feel as needed? I'm new and also doing jack's but over fed feeding them @ 100-63-107 ppm every watering (1.89g per gallon).

Glad that your growing out more than one this time as it'll allow us to compare the phenotypes for differences.

Thanks!
I feed with Jacks every watering unless I have issues and then its just straight water. I always go by feel but in general, during flower, they don't often get fed below 400ppm.
In veg, after seedling stage, they were fed at 400ppm every time except after a transplant. After transplanting I don't feed with nutes for 1 week, just water. Also, as a seedling they don't get fed until the plant has had its first true leaves for 1 week.
Im not sure what you mean with those PPM numbers you have listed.....please explain.

The NPK ppm @ 1.89g per gallon yields a ppm of N-P-K:100-63-107.
So for a 20-20-20 it has a ratio of 1:.44:.83 of N to P to K based upon being provided as P2O5 and K2O.
Here is the math
----------------
Calculate ratios
N = 20 P = 20 * .43 = 8.6 K = 20 * .83 = 16.6
Calculate mg per liter
1000 x .2 = 200 mg N per liter @ 1g
1000 x .086 = 86mg P per liter @ 1g
1000 x .166 = 166mg K per liter @ 1g

200 / 3.8 L/G = 52.63 ppm per gallon @ 1g
86 / 3.8 L/G = 22.63 ppm per gallon @ 1g
166 / 3.8 L/G = 43.68 ppm per gallon @ 1g

Took those ppm per gallon and then calculated the ppm per nutrient based upon weight. Thanks for outlining your methods for me though Gruber! When you just simply listed it as 400 ppm I was wondering how you got that then went and looked at the plastic jug the jacks came in and voila states it on there 1/2 tsp is 125ppm. Like that math much easier lol. Your the man.

I see you only like to buy from Dr. Greenthumb.
Is there a reason for that specifically?

On a side note, I love how your plants look.
Do you have a reason as to why you don't use Uncle Bens topping? I think it would increase your yield no?
Thanks!
I do use UB's topping but usually on stretchy sativas. If im not mistaken UB developed it for just such cases.

I have purchased seeds from others but I originally started with Greenthumb. After a few purchases and journals i became an unofficial/official public tester for Doc. Doc now sends me free seeds and I journal them. I don't have anything against other breeders but so far nothing ive grown has stuck in my garden and thats why i stick with Greenthumb. I'm sure there is plenty of good stuff out there but i have my hands full and Im very pleased with Doc's selections but from time to time i do pop other breeders gear.

Looking good Dr. Gruber. This is Dilly from Ccm(Maine). I always enjoy your grows. Buds are stacking nicely for 26 days. Im running an Iranian oh zone journal for Doc on a summer grow. Jacks nute line is so under rated. Your plants always look very healthy using Jacks. Keep up the good work. Im interested in the smoke report. We both know this is an awesome cross with both genes being very potent!!

Dankworths OH Zone[chemo og] in the photo

was the most potent plant he had ever had

that cross gets so dense and the thc test my guess is crazy..it is the strongest indica i have had..the og added does not hurt

the taller candleabra pheno is way easier to grow and will pack it on…it may be as good but i dunno yet

the short one takes more dedication…it is not for the novice..but once you find it…

not much else in indica land comes close

dr gruber..your photos look good
it looks way healthy
such a good job
it is going to look way different at harvest time..
chunkolla!

Harvest day for plant 3 after 56 days of 12/12.

The buds look amazing in person. This one smells like fruit thats been sitting in a garbage can for too long. It should be an interesting smoke to say the least.
