Florida Girl-
How do you like the Botanicare line now that you have the ppm dialed in? What products are you using in the line? any results from certain products you'd like to bring up? Are there any other products you are using besides the Botanicare line? What seems to be the best feeding schedule for your plants on the product? Thanks in advance for sharing your info...

I used botanicare line throughout my grow and it was one of the best ones so far. For veg i used PBP grow with liquid karma, and with in a week and a half they started to take off. I did use hydroplex and PBP bloom and would say that i would go with maybe advanced nuts. I felt as though if had may be used other additives my buds could have been that much bigger.

Nice-I have used AN in the past--all organic line--the products that stood out were the VOODOO JUICE(great root growth), BIG BUD(really did blow up the buds),PIRANA and Tarantula(These beni and fungi are expensive but top of the line). What seemed to work very well at the time was to "bloom" the critters a day before application---I would mix up a batch of the piranha, tarantula, voodoo, and sensizym in a gallon of h2o with the recommended dose of carboload(sugar to feed the critters) I would then put an air stone in the container and just let it "bloom" for a day. The next day of the feed I would PH the juice to 6.3. It seemed to work very well. Best of luck to you mine greenthumbed friend!!!

Where do you buy all those nutrients. I had a hard enough time finding plain old fucking miracle gro. haha, these plants are the first and only plants i've been able to keep alive. but that's because they are so important to me.

I purchased them all through a very nice supplier that I found off of eBay. Now i just go directly to him

heres a link to his site
Discount Advanced Nutrients .::. The best source for Advanced Nutrients

I always get everything in within 2 days which is great.

I also found a local Hydroponic shop who just started selling AN a bit more expensive but for that must have right now its pretty nice to know.

Only prob on this thread I see is, its too generic.

Nutes? Use brand X

Doesn't it matter if its soil or hydro?

Aren't there like 3 or 4 main hydro styles?

We went down this generic road with the MG. People would ask about MG soil and everyone would say how MG nutes suck. Who said soil?

A sticky on nute is a great idea. Just make a hydro and a separate soil one. Getting hydro advice when you grow soil is pointless. (and a lot of people never state that when they say to use brand X and version B)

Hard to really say as my plants are recovering and just starting to grow again. I'm hoping to start seeing some good solid growth in the next couple of weeks. I'm only using the ProBlend Grow right now and supplementing with a small dose of an organic Epsom Salt.

I'm hoping to start flowering in 3 to 4 weeks and I'm planning on using the ProBlend Bloom during that period.

Hoping for good results.... but you never know... hell I don't even know if I have any girls at this point. This first grow has really been kicking my ass.... so many problems... so much to learn. :?

Are you growing indoors or outdoors? What type of system are you using?---(the reason I ask is because those ferts have time released nutes and are better for use outdoors. Time released ferts are harder to control indoors although not impossible.) The peat is commonly found median in many soilless mixes 3.5 to 5.5ph---good water and nutrient holding characteristics. The perlite is also found in many soilless mixes, it helps loosen the soiless mix and also has good nutrient holding characteristics---doesn't change ph of soilless mixes.

Very good point--If you have looked through the thread you will notice that is the first question I will usually ask. You are very right---there is a big difference between hydro and soil recommendations. And it would be greatly appreciated any time you can stop by and answer some growers questions--thanks again.

yep, i will probably use different soil, and mix it with the perilite and peat moss. Those nutes should be alright, probly wont use much of the veg, and start slow with the bloom ones.

I've use fox farm and advance. Advance in my opinion is over rated with to much shit to buy. Right now I'm trying natures nector. Its 3 parts. Separate n p and k. It say don't adjust ppm or ph. Its also certifed organic. Its so simple but when I did check ph it was at 5.0. Seem low to me but it says Dnt adjust. Also I'm using it at half doses. I burn
alittle in the begining.

but 2 threads one for soil vs another for hydro. otherwise it just one clusterfuck and ya gotta filter. 20 Minutes going through soil posts when one does soil is poinless

LOL

There's no rule that says you have to buy all the AN products. You can just use whatever components of the line you like. If you really want, you can even mix-and-match brands. I saw a thread somewhere about a guy that grows with 4 or 5 brands, using more nutes than some hydro shops have.

And I would stay away from anything that said I didn't need to adjust pH or watch ppm. That's a bit crazy, imo. You wouldn't use a light that said you could put it as close to the plants as you want, and don't have to watch the temperatures at all, would you?

Just because it says something on the label doesn't mean it's the gospel truth.
