Ummm...
A pH pen is more important than a TDS in my opinion. As long as you are following a feeding chart.
A pH of 7 is alright, but they will feed better at 6.2.
How are you checking the soil pH? With a probe? Or are you measuring the pH of the runoff?
And yes! You add all of the ingredients to the nutrient mixture, the base (pureblend pro) and the beneficals (liquid karma) along with the cal mag, molasses... And whatever else.
Your nutrient solution should be at 6.2, if you adjust the pH of the plain water to 6.2, then add the nutes and readjust the pH back to 6.2, it will have a more stable pH, for use in hydro applications.
I skip a step and just adjust the pH after I've mixed in the nutes... I grow in soil.

Here is my side my side comparison of purplemaxx..pics are a week old..i'll post new ones in a couple of day..I foliar feed with 1/8tsp to 1 quart of plain pH 6.5 water. Just a generous spray once a week after week 3 or 3 weeks, then once again at the end of flower. same strain

What are you feeding them?
Are they both the same age, same distance from the light, same feeding program...? Because, the one with the purple maxx looks ahead of the one w/out. Way frostier too, but it may be the pic, they look like they were taken at two different light frequencies, and in different places...

the second one is about 7 days behind the other one.... same lights 150W HPS..the one w/o PM is under a cooltube..both get regular fox farm growbig/tigerbloom about once a week.
when you see them side by side there is a HUGE difference. The pistils on the purple maxx plant are curly, and the plant w/o are sticking straight out like a sea urchin

when the other one wakes up today I'll snap a new photo with them both in the kitchen.
i also have a soil grow going, so for now i can get by with just a ph pen, im kinda low on funds. i measure the ph of the soil with an 8 dollar probe. they are in a combination pro-mixhp and ocean forest soil. i will be amking atrip to the store today. my plants look good right now, one at 10inches and the rest just under 8inches. i just want to make sure i dont hurt them with a new regiment. so i will add some pure plend grow, cal mag and liwuid karma today, at the heights there at what strenght should i go with?? should i take the ph of the water first? then seperately get the nute mix ph, then mix them?

I'm looking forward to it Smokey... I think if you had used the soluables you'd see less a differance, but that's pretty dramatic for just the purple maxx.

Mine's at 6.2, when I put one of those probes in, it merely goes a little bit towards 6, but it mostly looks like 7... It sits at 7 when it's not in anything... Seriously it moves maybe a millimeter or two towards 6.
The best way to check soil pH is to check your runoff, the water that comes out of the bottom of the pot. If you feed it 6.2 water, it should come outta the bottom 6.2...

Yikes man, you have a lot to learn...
I'd give them the 15 mL mix until flower, I don't think the boost to 25 mL is really necessary... I've never used botanicare so idk.
You might want to get a moisture meter like your pH probe, it'll take the guesswork out of watering... Usually you need to water every 2-3 days, whenever the containers are light. Don't give them water or nutes if they don't need it. Check before you water.
I'm pretty sure one tablespoon is 15 mL, and one teaspoon is 5 mL...
I'll check it and edit if I'm wrong.
If you ever need to convert measurements, of anything... Go to google, and type in "convert (blank) to (blank)"
Like "convert tablespoon to mL"
Or "convert mile to inch"

WHOAAAA there partner that is way to much botanicare i have used it and it will fuck your shit up if you dont use a ppm pen with it .. do not go by manufacturers recomendations and keep your ec at around 1.2/1.5 max in the 5th week then slack off....
take alook around this forum and search botanicare i tossed that shit out..
