Day 22

BX#5- Strange looking plant, stretchy but stacked all the way down. This one will be cool to see when it's finished.

15135530199281709055553.jpg 1513553134175102148577.jpg I got a trellis back over BX1 and all the flopped branches back up to the light. It'll be nice not having a trellis in the way for my smaller plants.

BX#4- The third and final of the f2 bubbilicious crosses.
By far the smelliest of the BX's. Stinkier than the malibu pies and right on par with the alien rifts, but completely different type of smell. Very fruity and pungeant.

The canopy without a trellis. Canopy from front to back are 3 plants deep. Starting from the left are 7 alien rifts with the 7th being in the back of the 3rd row over. The two front plants in that 3rd row are malibu pies, along with the next 2 rows. Leaving the last 3 plants, the bx's at the far right.1513554659306223493165.jpg 151355476398170281937.jpg15135549378191283040753.jpg

Day 31

Cake city on this rift #8. Kind of an up and comer with the trichs, didn't have much earlier on. Getting there now :razz:1514325817219437091126.jpg 1514326310966888595171.jpg

This bx#4 is reeking of bubblegum. And by the looks of it I'm thinking if things go well this girl could be ready at between 7 to 8 weeks, the calyxes already appear to be swelling a bit. We'll see, she's one I'm really enjoying growing. 15143271230091512783178.jpg 1514327017606563921820.jpg 1514327217239164858055.jpg

Temps have dropped down a bit as well with winter being here. Lows into the low to mid 60s and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Also some of the Malibu pies leaves are beginning to go purple. I'm thinking I'll be seeing a lot of that with temps being a bit lower from here on out.

Week 5 right before lights on. Some plants are yellowing a bit, I had some salt buildup and leached the soil and am now having a tough time with a couple, none the less they're all doing fine.
I also just sprayed with some nuke em, I've scoped a couple leaves and didn't find anything but a couple plants are starting to show broad mite sympoms again and I definitely don't want all that again come week 7 or 8 of flower.

Temps are also getting a bit too low, they hit 61 degrees last night around the canopy so I'm going out today to get a small space heater.

great pics & great growing. makes me regret getting rid of my packs of alien rift...
There are a couple really nice rift phenos here, one being that #5. I think that one will finish earliest of the rifts. Colas are between golf ball and tennis ball size for that one so far

Malibu Pie #2
Looks like there might already be some amber trichs in that close up shot. Maybe she'll be ready by day 49 :weed:1514843018942131830672.jpg 15148431992642087760655.jpg 15148431154622105097497.jpg 15148432669471599593547.jpg

the resin rails on #8 look great, thats what we all strive for.

Yeah #5 Is awesome. Going to be so easy to trim that one. And she also is of the bushiest in the garden, not the frostiest, but for week 5 I cant complain. It's my first go with the cmh's so I'm just along for the ride, all new to me. I've got a couple Malibu pies starting to purple but I'm kind of thinking it's deficiency related for those two but the bx#4 leaves are beginning to purple and the plant does not look too deficient. That girl has been one of my better from the start and two of the possible mothers from the plant would be grand daddy purp or blueberry(along with possibly 2 others I believe, it was an accidental cross by a buddy and all resulting seeds were mixed).
Originally I thought it was a backcrossed bubbilicious because of how fruity it smells but I wouldn't expect bubbilicious to begin to purple out(I have no knowledge of the strain so maybe I'm wrong). Either way terp wise, she's hands down the most fire of the "bx's". I almost think she's got better and stronger aromas than the best of the rifts and pies, it's pretty impressive. Not the frostiest but you wouldn't guess that with the intensity of the smell. 15148590618821656248964.jpg 151485923365443544521.jpg

nirvanas bubblicious was one of the best strains i ran from them along with nypd, so i know those crosses are pretty great. i saw that you mentioned previously about a hot spot with the reflector on one of the houses, but are you seeing a true difference with the vertical vs horizontal cmh bulbs?

Yeah bubbilicious from nirvana is the father of those 3 strains. I used the same batch of mixed seeds on my first grow and there were some pretty dank phenos.

And about the vert/horizontal bulbs, my par meter shows a pretty big difference between the horizontal double ended 630 and the two vertical 315s, the 315s actually have higher readings. The 630 appears to be a little brighter, but not according to the meter.. the 630 does cover a little bit wider area though.

If I have anymore grows I would most likely get one more 315 Sun system and swap it places with the 630 and 600hps.(mainly just to conserve wattage)
